This is one of the most compassionate and actively listening providers I have had in some years. She is a true credit to the profession, and I pray for this woman constantly! She soothes my problems and makes me feel like a human. Jesus smiles on this soul and she is a true credit to the medical profession! First of all Dr. Ananathula is the best. Doesn't matter if you're there in person or on the phone you are treated with respect. Lab staff is also great. I have been going to HMG for nearly 20 years and have had only one bad experience and that was years ago. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a great experience at this doctors office. After seeing several other doctors without getting answers, this team finally took the time to listen and throughly investigate my symptoms. they were professional, attentive, and truly committed to finding the root of the issue. I'm very grateful for their persitence and expertise, and i highly recommend this office to anyone who has been struggling to get clear answers about their health.

I personally work in healthcare and my exerience was completely unacceptable and I regret not reporting the Dr. I also posted a review a year ago and it's completely gone so I am going to try again. To start... I told the dr my past GI medical history with an SBO and hiatal hernia. I needed my esophagus dialated and he did a good job I think but there is bigger issues at play here. After having my procedure he came into revovery where my husband was waiiting with me. He came in and YELLED that I didn't have a hiatal hernia and I mean he YELLED. I am not exaggerating. I had not said one word at this point. I was groggy from the procedure and he came in the room and yelled at me first thing which was humiliating and essentially called me a liar. He didn't even look at my medical records online to see my diagnosis. He missed the hernia on the scope which from what I read is not uncommon since hiatal hernias can be hard to find. I know for a fact I do have a hiatal hernia because I was diagnosed via CT scan (a more accurate test) when I had the SBO bowel obstruction when I was hospitalized a few years prior and when I got home and became more awake from the anesthesia I checked my records through my chart online and surely enough I was diagnosed not once but TWICE. The doctor missed it on the endoscopy and then came in and instead of asking me about this, he yelled and gaslit me into believing I didn't have a hernia. This man has a GOD complex or does he hate woman? I do not know. I am a soft spoken person and would never treat anyone that way and if it's a personal issue, don't take your problems to work. Doctors should NEVER treat your patients this way. Everyone else that works here seems to be friendly with a great bedside manner but the Dr was atrocious and I refused to come back for the colonoscopy. I even checked and asked people if my hernia could just disappear and I was told no. I have medical records that prove I have a hernia. I was not even there for hernia issues in the first place. I was there to have my esophagus dialted but the dr had asked me about my prior medical history and i gave him accurate details about my GI history. Again, I'm a healthcare worker and would never treat patients the way he treated me. It's completely unacceptable.
