Today April 05, 2022 marks our 29th day in Canada as new immigrants. I have a 14 year old Autistic son, in all of his 14 years of existence and our taking care of him I have never felt this level of discrimination against him. We visited Caswell Medical Clinic today on appointment and the Doctor and his female assistant (elderly) simply treated my son and I as if we were outcasts with a deadly plaque that needed to be avoided by all means - the Doctor's exact final words to us were "... if you want prescriptions don't come here, just call and I will send it to you. I don't want to see him again (reference to my son), please take him to another hospital" I feel so pained, but I will not allow myself to take this away as my impression of Doctors in Canada.
