I found the experience a bit amusing. During my visit for a dental cleaning, I noticed an assistant named Reema actively approaching patients and asking them to leave positive reviews for the clinic. It felt a little awkward and made me wonder how many of the 5-star reviews are based on genuine patient experiences versus direct requests from staff. The clinic itself may provide good service, but after seeing this, I find it harder to fully trust the online ratings.

Great service! Shelley at the front desk was really helpfull and was thorough in getting me the best rates supported by my medical insurance. I went first for a cleaning then had to go back for an extraction. Doctor Modi was thorough in explaining all the steps while his assistant Sharma was extremely helpful in making me comfortable and help me with all the options I could have. I strongly recommend their services, expertise and professional courtesy!

Shelley at Spearmint Dental South in Edmonton is absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in she makes you feel welcome. She always asks how my kids are doing and even remembers my dog’s name and asks how he’s doing too, which really shows she cares about people, not just the job. Shelley also goes out of her way to call when there are cancellations to try and get me in sooner. Her personality is warm, genuine, and positive, and her work ethic is outstanding. She’s a huge asset to the office. The entire team at this clinic is awesome, professional, and friendly. I genuinely look forward to coming here and highly recommend them to anyone.

We went in to Spearmint Dental as an emergency appointment, one of my kids had broken a tooth. They had us an appointment within 3 hours! We were able to, get assessed, x-rayed and see a dentist. I was thankful we were able to make an informed decision on the proper course of action and we were told the risks or future complications from the injury that had occurred. The administration assistants at the front were amazing and so friendly!

The whole staff at Spearmint Dental is very professional and they make you feel so welcomed and comfortable. Meera took great care of my wife when we went for one of her tooth extractions. Their office is neat and well kept. Highly recommended!

I am so grateful for Spearmint Dental south side! I feel grateful to have Dr. Kern as my dentist!! He is so knowledgeable, caring and gentle. Donna is the most amazing hygienist! She also remembers how sensitive I am and takes her time cleaning my teeth! She also always has a solution to whatever I’m facing! And Shelley the office manager is an angel sent from heaven orchestrating it all!! I’ve always been so scared of the dentist but everyone here cares so much and it’s a pleasure and happy experience whenever I go. Everyone truly cares from their heart and it transforms what could be traumatic into joyful! *UPDATE* Had my first check up and the experience was just as great as my first cleaning, reception ladies are great and the staff is so knowledgable and relaxed, really making my dental experience a great one!

Had my first appointment here after a bad experience at another clinic in the area. Just for a cleaning no check up yet. The hygienist was incredible, she is excellent at her job, extremely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Really happy so far with this clinic!

The staff is absolutely amazing, they genuinely care about their clients’ needs and go above and beyond to provide the best quality treatment. A special shoutout to Shelley, the receptionist, for her warm and welcoming attitude, and to Lisa, the dental hygienist, for her outstanding care during my visit this evening. 10/10 clinic, I highly recommend :)

This is the worst dental clinic on edmonton. I am a health care provider as well and it seems the receptionist that we talked too does not know what she is doing--we politely asked her what are the benefits that will be covered and she gave us the wrong information. I called to clarify but she did not even have the time to check on it and just hung up.
TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!AND DENTAL WORK/SERVICE IS ALSO DISGUSTING TO THE EXTREME. DO NOT GO ON HERE!!

In regards to your response on this review--I called on Saturday to verify everything after what happened as we wasted our time going on Saturday at your office. Your receptionist hung up the phone and was the worst receptionist we had ever encountered.
Anyways--we will not go to your clinic anymore. There are dental clinics around who deliver better and more efficent dental services and courteous receptionist.
In addendum to this review--our insurance states that your clinic charges extra than other clinics--
So to whoever is reading this review--kindly confirm to your insurance about this clinic's charges.

I have nothing but great things too say about this dental office. All the staff I have encountered over the past year and a half have been very professional and genuinely care for their patients. I would recommend this office to everyone. The office is also very clean and modern. In my experience, they have been on time and no delays with my appointments.
