We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Melissa in the showroom was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and she took the time to help us find the perfect unit for our space—no pressure, just great guidance.

Her husband John handled the installation and was absolutely tremendous. The work was professional, clean, and done right the first time. He was also very responsive with follow-up questions and made sure everything was working perfectly.

After two failed attempts to get our Fireplace repaired, we found Light My Fire and things could not have turned out better. In less than 10 minutes they knew what we needed and we completed our transaction. We were told we would get a call within 3 weeks for installation and that is exactly what happened. We are so pleased with how everything went and highly recommend Light My Fire for excellent service.

Light My Fire replaced our drafty wood-burning fireplace with new Mendota gas fireplace this past December, and all I can say is what a difference especially during this recent cold freeze! They were great from start to finish.John (the owner) does basically all the work himself (except for the electrical which they gave a us a referral). Our only regret was not doing it 9 years sooner! 😉
I highly recommend them!

Can’t say enough about Melissa and John at Light My Fire. I needed service and they treated me as if I bought the fireplace two months ago. (I purchased my fireplace three years ago and do not live too close to them.) They are friendly, honest and very reliable. No need to look elsewhere if you are considering a new fireplace or a conversion. I have two Mendota’s from them.

Absolutely great to work with throughout the process of renovating my home and changing over from a wood burning fireplace to natural gas. I cannot thank the team enough for their patience and assistance throughout the process.

They assisted me in getting the proper permit work for the town and even gave me an in depth tutorial on how to utilize the new fireplace. The features are absolutely amazing and I always get compliments whenever guests come by. Thank you so so much!

I wanted to send a note of appreciation for your excellent service, nice product and perfect installation. We really appreciate how nice, patient and knowledgeable Melissa was when we first dropped into the store, she kept me up to date and no question remained unanswered. John was extremely friendly, skilled and professional during the installation. Our Stove looks and works great and we love it. When the inspector showed up, he said that he doesn't need to check anything when John does the job, he is very thorough and professional.
We are extremely happy with the service received and can only say the nicest things about their business. Please don't get discouraged just because of a few grumpy people who have nothing better to do than writing bad feedback. They never have and never will run a business in their life. You are worth every $$. Keep going both of you and good luck and good health for the years to come. MB
