I would give this place more stars if I could. The owners were so kind and accommodating. They switched me to a different cabin when my plans suddenly changed and immediately refunded the difference without me even asking. I was very impressed before even arriving. Then we actually got there and I have never been more pleasantly surprised. The cabin was immaculate and neat as a pin. It has everything you need in a very cleverly designed space. Even a cute little rechargeable lantern that I used for light instead of the overhead lights. The whole campground is laid out so that you’re totally private but not in the middle of nowhere all alone, which was my concern. This place was perfect for my stay and I’m sure I’ll be back.

I’ve stayed at Tranquil Cabins a couple of times with some girlfriends and both times have been absolutely perfect. It’s in such an idyllic location with peaceful views of the East Texas pines. You’re far enough from civilization that it feels like you’re in your own world but it’s close enough to a Walmart and Starbucks that you don’t have to be completely cut off if you don’t want to be. It’s a wonderful location to retreat and mentally reset. It would also be the perfect location for a romantic weekend getaway. 10/10 do recommend.

My girlfriends and I loved our stay at Tranquil Cabins, it truly exceeded all our expectations. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained, creating the perfect environment to relax and unwind. The check-in process was seamless, which made settling in a breeze. We had such a great time making s’mores by the fireplace, taking peaceful walks around the campgrounds, and soaking in the quiet, scenic surroundings. I love tiny house getaways and this is one of my favorites! The location is incredible the cabins are surrounded with Pine trees. The cabin is cozy with all the abilities to cook a great meal and get quality rest.

I've stayed here now twice and have really enjoyed both stays. I saw some comments about the overhead lighting being super bright -- I agree that a dimmer would be really helpful. I loved staying here and absolutely will again. (I used the lantern provided as my night light and turned off the overhead in the evenings.) Brilliant space. Small, but all I needed. A cooktop, a sink, a shower, and commode. Being able to use the firepit this time was awesome.

My husband and I loved this place and will be back! The cabin was so clean and welcoming as if they were just built overnight! Check in was easy, locating our cabin was easy, and it was so quiet and peaceful. I read a review with complaints about spiders and ours did not have any. Since you're in the woods you should expect bugs but ours was clear of that. IF you are from the country and don't mind that peace of mind choose here!

LOVED our stay at Tranquil Cabins. It was so peaceful, especially with the huge windows right next to our bed. It was very quiet and the cabin was clean and well stocked. There was a setup for pour over coffee which we loved. The cabin was out of coffee filters, but staff brought us some within 2 hours of emailing them. No complaints about this place! Very happy with our stay and definitely want to return.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Tranquil Cabins. It was so peaceful and we got plenty of rest. The cabin was so clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We brought our dog and the owners were kind enough to leave him a bowl, a blanket and a few other little treats. The bed was super comfortable and watching the sun rise from those big windows was amazing. It was easy to find and Doug greeted us when we got there to let us know he was there if we needed anything. We will definitely visit again.
