He completed his internship followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at Yale-New Haven Medical Center and then completed his fellowship in nuclear medicine at the same institution.He was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1983 and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine in 1984. Dr. Strauss served as an instructor and then assistant professor at Yale University in interventional radiology before joining Norwalk Radiology Consultants in 1986.
