In June, we dealt with a flood that messed up our basement pretty badly. When my insurance company told me to find a contractor nearby, I was a bit nervous. I've had my share of bad experiences with companies that either did shoddy work or just didn’t show up when they said they would. I reached out to three different contractors but ended up giving HB Builder a shot. They were awesome! They showed up every day right on time and kept me updated on the renovations. They really followed my design ideas and delivered exactly what I wanted. Plus, they were super friendly with my family and even got along with my dog! They took care of my home and made sure it stayed clean while they worked. True to their word, they finished the whole basement right on schedule and didn’t go over budget, which was a big relief. I totally recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their home!

We hired HB Builder to do multiple jobs for us in our home. They replaced doors and mouldings, replaced our staircase and banister, installed a quartz countertop, hooked up some plumbing, and patched, sanded, and painted many spots in our home which needed touch ups.

Kaveh, Reza, and their team were very pleasant to work with. They were great at communicating with us to ensure their work and progress was always to our satisfaction. They would consult us when necessary when it came to design decisions, but otherwise were very autonomous. This gave us a lot of confidence in their work, as they were also able to make suggestions when necessary. You could tell that they were very experienced, and most importantly, they wanted to ensure that we would be happy with the final result. They also did a great job at keeping the space as clean as possible. They set up a barrier to keep the dust out, and did a general clean up at the end of each work day. Renovations can make a mess very quickly, so this was much appreciated. They also took care of a lot of material purchases for us, which saved us from having to run around to multiple stores.

Their pricing was fair and we appreciated their quoting system, which helped us get a full understanding of the project budget prior to moving forward, which was very important to us. Once we started working with them, we kept on adding jobs as we were so pleased with the quality of their work and liked the progress they were making.

On a personal level, they were just so nice to work with. We shared many nice conversations and laughs together, which made for a really nice work environment. We have since recommended them to multiple friends and family, and will continue to do so. When we have future jobs, we will definitely be calling them again.

If you want a down-to-earth team who will treat your home as it was their own, these are the guys for you.

: GREAT WORK-COULD NOT BE HAPPIER.
We had HBbuilders come by and give us an estimate to rebuild our back porch. Compared to the other contractors, they were very reasonable.  We were sceptical at first, but are VERY VERY GLAD we chose them, WHAT GREAT WORK.  The man Jesse worked thru all the high humidity we just had and did an excellent job.  Some of the neighbour's have come by and looked at it and said what a nice job.  I wish we had a sign to put out because some of them have asked for their business card.

I’m very satisfied with the work HBbuilder did on renovating my bathroom. Their team was extremely skilled, experienced, and detail-oriented. They didn’t just do a great job with the construction — they also helped a lot with space design and gave me great ideas that made the final result exactly what I was hoping for.
I definitely recommend this professional team to anyone looking for quality work.
