He completed his internal medicine residency at New York University Medical Center in New York then completed two fellowships in cardiovascular disease at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Bronx, N.Y., and at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.Dr. Yang was interested in science growing up and realized his passion for cardiology while conducting research in a lab. "Cardiology is a field where you can see the results of your care almost immediately at times," he explains. "A patient might come in looking like they’re about to collapse, and about an hour later, they’re able to sit up and eat a meal. It's incredibly gratifying to see that dramatic change so quickly.”“When I talk to my patients, I always tell them two things about me,” says Dr. Yang. “First, I can’t promise that I can provide a miracle cure. But what I can promise is this: you’ll get my honest opinion about what’s going on, and I will give you my best effort, always.” Dr Yang emphasizes a holistic approach to medicine, focusing not only on cardiac issues but also on addressing all aspects of a patient's health to make the biggest impact on their overall well-being. "Seeing my patients get better is reward enough for me," he says.
