So they updated their payment method and made you have to change when your payment is due even though you signed a contract for the 15th of every month you signed a contract for 60 months for 3999 and they pull out 5399 and then they make it where you can’t even call them to tell them that hey you’re making a mistake. They just block you. It doesn’t ring you can’t leave a message. They don’t get back to you. The Customer Service sucks. They don’t honor their contracts. They don’t realize what they’re doing or they don’t care

Though the technology works ok and the team has always been courteous, if you sign a 5-year contract there is NO way to get out of it, even by paying a cancellation fee. We ran into medical issues and my husband lost his job without being able to get another one, and there's nothing they do to take that into consideration. To "cancel" is to pay the full amount of the contract. Not only that, but when I asked if they notify you when your contract is up, they said no, they don't send out that notification. So I had to put a reminder in my phone exactly 20 months out that said I need to call to cancel because it goes month-to-month and they won't even let you know that the contract is over. The only redeeming thing about that is that they don't automatically renew the five year contract for another five years to steal your money. Find someone else that's more flexible.

We've always been very pleased with Wise! We had one of their older, more basic security systems in our townhome in Salt Lake City for 5 years and it was installed well, it was easy to use, and intuitive. Monitoring response was always very quick and reliable. Fortunately for us, most of the responses were for false alarms, and we only needed the police dispatched once on account of a guest leaving the front door open on accident. Now we have a brand new system in our new home in Idaho and the pricing was fair. The installation was quick and easy and the system works well. Very pleased.

I highly recommend this company over the other industry leaders.

I feel completely taken advantage of by Wise Home Solutions.

Back in 2020, when I was 22 and had just had my first baby, I unknowingly signed a 5-year contract. I moved out of that home in 2022 and have been paying $55 (over 3k since 2020) every month since then for a service I haven’t benefited from at all.

I called after we moved and was made aware that I signed a contract and would have to continue paying for the service until I met the 5 years of payments even though again....havent been using the service and don't have access since I moved...it seems like in the other reviews similar to mine the company is adamant that they make it clear that its a 5 year contract so I just want to reiterate how truly unclear it is that you are signing a 5 year contract. I was truly shocked and confused when the representative on the phone made me aware of that.

I called in April to find out when my final payment would be, and I was told October. No one mentioned that I would have to call again to cancel once October arrived. Now it’s November, and they pulled another payment from my account — and when I asked for a refund (only three days after it processed), they refused.

This company has been nothing but misleading and unhelpful. I would never recommend Wise Home Solutions to anyone. Their lack of transparency and unwillingness to work with customers is extremely disappointing. Avoid them.

Update since the company has responded with such a lack of empathy or understanding for the $3500 theyve stolen from my family and I over the last five years. I was refunded the amount that your company pulled out of my account AFTER my contract ended and I shouldn't have had any more payments taken out, on top of that i was never offered to have my system moved to a different location and had no where for it to be moved to. I thought it was just the door to door salesman that were grimy and deceiving but looks like its the company in a whole!

Every time I call to cancel they say I still have 4 more months. It seems to be never ending

Edit: the contract and salesman were anything but transparent. Never heard of any contract let alone home security that locks you in for 5 years with no option to ever cancel. You have to pay for the full 5 years.The last time I called they informed me it would be finished in October. I called this month and now it is February.

Do not get. Read all the reviews before purchasing. Especially yelp. The salesman are very misleading and the people on the phone are no help. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I am still not impressed by this company. They asked me to change my review to agree to let me get out of any part of the agreement…..When we signed up for the service the salesman just came to our home because the previous owner had installed the system. They pried on our innocent new home owner minds and we signed a 5 YEAR CONTRACT. I wasn’t aware it was for 5 years and that they had other options available. They made it sound like a dream.

After calling and demanding a solution to us relocating and not wanting the service any longer…they allowed me to speak with a manager who was graceful and more understanding than anyone I had talked to previously. Still they only allowed me to be released out of the contract 6months early of the 15months remaining on my contract. Which I was grateful for any help. I understand the agreement I signed it just would be helpful if they had other options other than to pay the full amount. I just wish they would have more options for people in extreme circumstances, not pry on ignorant young home owners, and elderly people.

The service itself was fine while we used it but it’s been a nightmare to get out of. If you can commit to the entire contract it’s fine but don’t count on getting out of it.

I decided to invest in a security system after sketchy activity around my house. I’m very impressed with the quality of the system and ease of use that Wise recommended. The installation technician went above and beyond to ensure the equipment was installed attractively and in a way that is easily assessable. Wise has been great to work with from the initial sales discussion, to scheduling the installation, and accessing the software. They even got my installation in early after learning I was feeling scared in my own home. There is a great deal of relief having this security system in place. While it is an investment, the peace of mind that comes with it is worth it. I highly recommend Wise.

I wish I could give these guys 10 stars. They did a flawless job on my entire security system on my house and they are all very personable and friendly. Also, their service is bar none. The best. They are quick and actually want to help you. Companies like Wise are hard to come by nowadays. Wise is a good one.

Sadly this is not a contract. You are signing up for a loan that will become due in full upon cancellation. Every other company will give you a month to month term and a cancellation option, even if it's 200 or 250. This company wants over 2,000 to cancel the agreement. Be very careful in what you sign. This is NOT a contract with the option to cancel. Very shady and extremely low customer service value.

The product, it works fine. It's an alarm. Whoop de doo.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!

I have been searching for a home security and automation replacement for a while now and have reached out to several security companies. Most of them are expensive, require a minimum 36-month contract, and push for equipment upgrades, giving you the whole spiel.

Wise Home Solutions is different. I received a text message from 'Jeff,' and everything was straightforward. He explained that I don't need to sign a contract, I can keep my existing system from another security company, and he clearly laid out the fees I would need to pay.

Throughout the entire process, I was communicating with Jeff, not realizing he was the COO of the company. He was very accommodating and didn't mind the many text messages I sent him.

The installation process was top-notch. The technician was patient, resolved every single issue we encountered, and never made me feel like he was in a hurry.

If you want a straightforward, easy process for switching or signing up with a security company, give these guys a try. I had the best experience and will be keeping them as my security company for a long time.

SCAM. We signed up for this service a few years ago. Our salesperson, Adam, spoke to my husband and convinced him to sign up. One of the big selling points was Adam told us that if any damage came to our property and the cameras didn’t catch it, Wise would pay for the damages. Well, lo and behold, a couple months after getting the system a vandal shot a BB gun at the front of our house and put a hole through our window and broke the porch light. Not caught on camera. We called Wise and they refused to pay to fix anything because that wasn’t in our contract. Looking at the fine print, the contact contradicts what was promised by Adam. When we called Wise about this, they still refused to help and even said “yeah… Adam does that a lot.” Okay??? So you’re admitting your sales guy is a scammer??? We told them at that point that we wanted to discontinue service and they said we would have to pay over $2,000 to end the contract. My husband went to their in-person office to try to talk to them, and they were very standoffish and unhelpful. They agreed to a lower monthly payment, but we still have to pay out the rest of our contract either all at once or through monthly payments. Well now it’s been over a year since that situation and we called to try and cancel again and they told us we still owe them over $1600. The alarm system doesn’t even work and the camera system is just a ring camera that you could buy and install yourself for a couple hundred dollars. Plus we have to have a separate subscription for the ring camera because they don’t cover that! So overall they trapped us into a contract where we’re paying over 3 grand for a system we could buy and set up ourselves for a couple hundred dollars. I’ve decided to report them to the Better Business Bureau for their poor service and for convincing us to sign a contract under false pretenses. There are also SEVERAL neighbors of mine who are customers of them and I will be making sure to let them know of our experience and telling them not to renew their contract. I’m sure I’ll get a snarky response from the Wise team for this review just like the other negative reviews. How about instead of going on the defense you actually come up with a good solution? Or sell a product that’s actually worth something? Oh, and just for fun, here is a photo of our Wise sign with BULLET HOLES through it. Oh, the irony.
