Such an amazing learning environment! The instructors are very patient and make sure students get plenty of hands-on experience. They never hesitate to answer questions and explain things until we fully understand. All three instructors are wonderful and supportive.

I would just like to warn future students that this dental assisting program is extremely unorganized and rushed. Communication between advisors and the instructors made the 12 week course a nightmare. On a few occasions, instructors were late and not prepared for class. Several times, either myself or other students in my class were not able to complete tasks due to the instructor's lack of time management skills but we were still expected to be graded on those tasks with no guidance or supervision. The way the course material was taught was never consistent because we had different instructors teaching us differently each week. My classmates and I relied on Youtube videos and each other to pass exams and clinical check offs. We did not have a proper graduation or professional certificates to take home. We received our certificates via email, but only after constantly contacting the advisor, Maddi, about updates on it. About a week after the last day of class, I found out there was an additional 6 hour training course required for state licensing that no one from the school mentioned at all. This dental assisting school sounds like a breath of air online but it is not worth $3k. Feeling uneasy and overwhelmed throughout the course program and then discarded at the end is my overall experience.

The Atlanta Dental Assistant School-Buford,Ga was very insightful. I loved how the teachers Sha and Roberto were both very encouraging, friendly, fun and overall supportive. They are both great teachers whom I would completely recommend this school if you’re trying to get into the dental field as an assistant.
