I’ve been going to Angelo’s since I was a child in the 70’s. I sometimes plan my trips to FW around a trip to Angelo’s. Our most recent visit did not disappoint. My rib plate was amazing as usual. My husband really enjoyed his brisket. I can’t get enough of the sauce! My only problem is that I’m never hungry enough to eat as much as I’d like! The service has always been excellent, and the atmosphere definitely has that Ft Wirth vibe!

Me and my family have been coming to Angelos for so long we’ve had 4 generations walk through those door. Absolutely incredible. Feels like home everytime I can make the trip. A real family staple. Got a chopped sandwich and ribs. I think I ate the sandwich in one bite, it was so good. I dream about the ribs

Poor Service. Rude Staff.
Food typically good.

To-go Orders incomplete. Unfortunately this is not the first time. Portions from multiple of same plates appeared different too. Called store. Store stated driver must have driven erratically for the tortillas of the brisket tacos to be STACKED - not assembled - but everything else including the other tacos to be in place. (Very unlikely) Store implied the delivery driver tampered with the food and stole/kept fixings and condiments. Hysterical. Packages did not appear tampered with at all. The meals were not complete and store stated they would not help me since I ordered through third party, after being on the phone with me and placing me on hold to “look into it”. “I asked them and they said they put them in there so they must be in there.” No…. Woman was rude, interrupted several times, and laughed about the order being wrong. Disappointed in Angelo’s lacking customer service and poor attitude of the employee.

So right off the bat, the staff here is all time friendly and dedicated to making sure the service is great. The Brisket is served with a healthy charred bark THAT I LOVE! The ribs have a great tear away bite that I love. The sides, are going to be my only critique. The Mac and cheese has a great flavor but is a little too overdone for my taste. The potato salad is basically vinegar heavy mashed potatoes which I understand some people like, it just isn't for me. But one thing that blew me away, was the pricing of the food. I've never received this amount of delicious BBQ for only 20 dollars in my whole 30 years of life. Definitely worth stopping by. I will definitely be coming back

1st time here, made the 2 hour drive because we had heard so much good stuff about it.
My wife and myself chose to have the sliced brisket with sides for me of corn on the cob and green beans, my wife had the smoked mac-n- cheese along with green beans. The sides were good and loved the Mac n cheese. Now for the good stuff- the sliced brisket. From the first bite on, our taste buds were in for a delightful treat. The brisket was smoked to perfection. The taste, the texture, you could feel flavor melt in your mouth.
You do get a knife but we didnt need it as the brisket was so tender you only needed a fork. Didn't even need the BBQ sauce because the flavor was there. Add the BBQ sauce- oh my Lord, it paired perfectly with the brisket so full of a sweet flavor with a hint of a spice kick.
It is easy to see why this place is so popular and why we both were recommend personally by people and why it has gained national attention.
The staff was awesome and along with the food, made our trip from Oklahoma well worth it. It lived up to all our expectations and beyond. Hands down the best we have tasted from any restaurant style facility.
Definitely we be back!
