I was visiting NY and wanted to go to the Dimond District, I did some research for a store I could feel confident purchasing from, being I live in another state. This jewelry store didn’t disappoint!! I was nervous because I don’t know much about jewelry and was looking to possibly trade a family ring I had been using for a couple of years. It’s more sentimental. The value was not what I was expecting so I decided not to trade it in. I was working with Meir, he did not pressure me and was patient. He showed me every ring I asked to see. I found a 3 row infinity ring that I just loved!! The ring is simple, shiny and I love it so much!!! I still stare at it happy it’s all mine. Meir was so kind to me and I really hope I can work with them again when I visit. Im not able to wear my wedding engagement ring, and I like to have a custom ring made along with my grandma’s diamonds. I’ve tried looking at local jeweler, but I don’t think they will compare to RMD! I highly recommend them!

My mom, sister, and I visited the diamond district before Christmas with an on-line list of the top 10 jewelry stores. Roman Malakov Diamonds absolutely blew the others away. RMD is in a class of its own. The jewelry was of the highest quality, and everything was absolutely stunning. Meir helped us, and he was incredibly personable, patient, and helpful as we selected our beautiful pieces. We had one ring, and two necklaces, all unique, one of a kind, gorgeous pieces, shipped to us. The packaging is equally stunning. I was in the market for an upgraded ring, and Roman Malakov was recommended by a friend. I had been shopping around for a couple of months and had done a lot of research to understand the market (specifically the diamond district in nyc) and get a clear understanding and vision of what I was wanting. I was trying to be very intentional throughout the process.

I walked into Roman Malakov, and was greeted by Boris. I explained what I was looking for, my recent experience shopping around, and the steps I wanted to take moving forward. Boris began sourcing diamonds immediately and over the course of about 3 weeks, stone after stone and the help of Boris’s expertise, he found me the perfect diamond. I gave Boris a budget and the aspects that were important to me, and he exceeded expectations beyond belief when it came to sourcing my center stone- I mention this because I ended up with a stone much bigger than I thought was in my budget based on my other shopping experiences in the diamond district. This shows the competitive and fair pricing Roman Malakov offers.

The design process was incredibly seamless. I had an idea of what I was wanting for a setting and had reference photos. Boris and I drew up some rough sketches and discussed at length the different components that I wanted incorporated into the ring. I thought for sure with the budget I had, I would have to compromise on some elements, especially because of the center stone that I chose, but Boris allowed me to create a ring with every single detail I was envisioning. He ensured me that the idea I had come up with was perfect for keeping the stone safe, and would be timeless. He made a rendering, we worked together to made some edits, and once I made the final approval, he began working on creating the ring.

The ring was done in 3 weeks, a very quick turnaround time. Boris and his team created a ring that is nothing short of incredibly beautiful. Every element so delicately executed, showing true craftsmanship.

Working with Boris and Roman Malakov has truly been such a special experience. Boris is incredibly patient and accommodating, nothing short of an expert in his craft. The entire time working with him, the only thing I felt from him, was that he wanted me to have the ring of my dreams. We worked with Boris who is fantastic. We came here to get a custom ring made for our engagement after seeing the positive google reviews. Boris and his team were warm, kind, and genuinely excited for us.

They were the only jewelers we had met so far that didn’t try to upsell us: they worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted. We had a design in mind and Boris not only took the time to understand it, but also suggested a few improvements that made the design even better!

He was able to get the ring made in a month and the final result is incredible. The ring comes with the necessary certification, cleaning cloth, and a beautiful ring box that has a built in light into it. We love the ring and loved our experience working with him and cannot recommend this store enough!

Trying to find the perfect ring is every groom’s dream. I wanted to find a jeweler that would take the time to listen to what I wanted, and advise on how best to make that a reality. Needless to say, my wife and I are happy we chose Roman Malakov Diamonds.

From our first visit, it was clear we made the right choice. Meir immediately made us feel comfortable and patiently listened, providing helpful input. We ended up buying my wife’s engagement ring.

We were so impressed with the experience that we decided to purchase our wedding bands there as well. This purchase occurred over the course of two visits. When we finally decided to proceed, Meir was able to handle the transaction over the phone. The groom’s wedding band was based on something he had seen elsewhere and wanted to make modifications too. We worked with Michael, who delivered two beautiful rings that matched exactly what my partner and I wanted. My husband and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary with a trip to New York City! Finding new wedding bands was on our itinerary. Happened to stumble into Roman Malakov and went in. Boris was helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. He made it a fun experience! We were leaving NYC the next day. Decided to take a gamble and leave my engagement ring there to be fixed and have him ship both of our rings to us back in California. Our rings were mailed within the next couple of days, overnight, as promised. Worked out perfectly! Received the rings and my husband and I could not be happier!
