Go eat here if you like Caribbean food.
One of the best options close to the West Island.
I've had goat, chicken, and oxtail here.
I learned what festivals are eating here and they're amazing.
Same with peanut punch.
I have nothing but good things to say about House of Taste.
They're lovely people working there too.
Service is super friendly - homely atmosphere.

PS.Sorry for the late review!
I promised I'd leave one last time I ate there and I slacked but here I am making good on my promise!

This restaurant feels like a true Jamaican home from the vibes to the people who work there. The love is in the food, the taste, the flavour, and the service. It’s more than just a meal, it feels like family, like community. And the prices are so reasonable. A place I will never stop coming too

Food was delicious. My husband ordered the curry goat plate while I had a curry goat rôti. I was impressed that the goat in the rôti didn't have much bones, one tiny piece. I've been to other places where the bones were included making it a bit of a mess to eat. We also ordered some jerk chicken which was amazing with or without sauce. My husband tried my ginger ale and was surprised at how much ginger there was. He ended asking me for a few more sips.

I had lunch there today. It was a really enjoyable lunch. Ackee and salt fish was good. The sides were surprisingly good. Yeah The rice and peas were tasty and moist, plantain and festival was tasty and not oily at all. I will definitely be back.

I've been going to this place for about two years now, and they have yet to disappoint. Perfect place to go for an authentic Caribbean experience, the food taste like a home made meal from auntie or grandma. This place has become my comfort food, the Jerk place has hit every single time. Not to mention the owners are very nice. good people. Would definitely recommend stopping by

Where to even start. Absolutely flawless display of authentic Caribbean cuisine!

The service is great, you feel welcomed, valued and appreciated as soon as you step in there.

The food was fantastic! Jerk chicken packed with flavour! Fall of the bone!

Chicken curry equally excellent, juicy chicken. Flavourful meal.

This was first and definitely won’t be the last. These guys are doing it right!

Second visit to the restaurant today, and I must say everything continues to be delicious. Today we ordered Jerk Chicken, and it was not only moist, but savory as well.
With the first visit we had patties, which by the way are the most mouthwatering homemade patties in the city; festivals which were flavourful, and their fishcakes. Those were delectable, and I am very picky with seafood dishes.
The family who runs the place are warm and welcoming, and it feels like home. Definitely worth the visit, and they're affordable.

Excellent customer service and the flavour is spectacular! I ordered the the jerk wraps and chicken roti. If you’re a spicy lover, the jerk wrap perfect and the roti was super flavourful. Definitely recommend !

I had an amazing experience at House of Taste ! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly, providing excellent service and making sure everything was just right.

Now, the food absolutely incredible! The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned with the right balance of spice and smokiness, and the oxtail was tender and flavorful, falling right off the bone. Everytime I go, the service is really nice, everyone there is always smiling and nice, the mom, the dad, the sons that I encountered.

The food that I got was also nice, but I haven't had much there only the soup and roti.
Good place to go for their soup, the chicken soup was good and the I liked her dumplings, they were round and small, though it was a nice spinoff from the usual spinners in soups that I am used to, when my mom would make growing up.👍🏾
