Totally dishonest! The man counting my gold and silver tripped and spilled my gold tray onto the floor. He kept out of the weighing process two of my gold pieces and tried to keep them when I left. When I called him out he became frantic. The entire experience felt so scammy (aside from walking through the door, the greeter was very professional and graceful). When asking what he paid for morgan dollars he told me they pay $20 and when I said no thanks, the price became $25 each. This was my first red flag and honesty should have left at this point. I have heard so many good things about this location, I’m genuinely surprised and disappointed at my experience. I went in with 6 sterling forks and 7 sterling knives and left with 5 forks. I’m not sure what else he was able to nab when he dropped my tray because there was a good amount of pieces there. Please do not let your gold and silver leave your sight when you visit this establishment. Prepare to be robbed :(

We loved the full range of options, excellent selection, fantastic attention to detail, and the ability to make something highly individualized. I have nothing but great things to say about our experience at Brown Lee Jewelers. We had gone to a few other jewelers but from the moment we walked in to talk about engagement rings, the experience was perfect. Trevor was incredible to work with, he answered all my questions and reassured me every time I was had any concerns. Trevor and the Brown Lee team are fantastic and I can’t recommend them more! Brownlee has been my mother’s jeweler for as long as I can remember growing up in Charlotte. Harold, Michael, and all the staff are knowledgeable, reliable, friendly, and communicative. When it came time for me to think about engagement rings, my grandmother gifted me her wedding set from my late grandfather. I wanted to redesign the rings into my own wedding rings. There’s no place I would have rather entrusted these precious heirlooms to than Brownlee.

Michael helped take my vision and made it into a reality that exceeded my dreams for a ring that means the absolute world to me. My husband—who is not much of a jewelry guy—also found his dream wedding band here with Michael’s help and guidance narrowing down his style and likes/dislikes.

When my 30th birthday rolled around 2 years later, my husband wanted to add a second band to my set and I reached back out to Brownlee to complete my ring. I literally gasped when I saw the finished product!

I live in Myrtle Beach and I still make the trips back home to Charlotte for ALL of my jewelry needs because Brownlee is the ONLY place I trust. Stop by Brownlee for all your jewelry needs—you won’t regret it!!

Went in to have my watch batteries replaced. They offer a service where they can change out all the gaskets also keep them waterproof. It has to be sent out but it's definitely worth it. Great staff. I've been shopping here for 45 years and you never been disappointed by the knowledge and friendliness.

This was my first experience with the Brownlee Jewelers Company and I can honestly say they are truly amazing! I brought my name earring in to have it repaired (or at least see if it could be fixed because it seemed truly beyond repair…like no hope, but I remained with a positive mind that maybe someone could help me). I’ve had my name earrings for about 15-16 years and I wear them to this day! The one I wear in my right ear has been through repair after repair, but they accepted the challenge and prevailed! They fixed my earring so beautifully!!!!! It’s literally the best I’ve ever seen it! Strong, Shining, and Good As New if not better!!
