Do not call Derksen if you have a steam boiler issue. We hired them to diagnose and fix a banging radiator problem — a fairly common steam heating issue. The technician who showed up clearly had no idea what he was dealing with. He wandered around, offered no confident diagnosis, and after two hours of hiding in the basement suggested realigning pipe angles. When he was ready to leave, the banging was still there.
We paid for two hours of labor and were left with the exact same problem we started with. No fix, no follow-up, no accountability. If you have a steam boiler, these are not your people. Save yourself the time and money and call someone who actually specializes in steam heating systems.

Roads are pure ice today and you've got a company truck speeding and agressively weaving in and out of traffic on Dugald at 4pm. Can't even trust their employees to drive safely while in a branded truck, wouldn't trust them with my home.

Il start out by saying that the plumber was very professional and did a great job on the plumbing repair in my house. The manager however was unprofessional and rude. I had a few questions about my surprisingly high invoice after the work that was completed and received a rude email from him. I was told if I was not happy with the price that he would gladly charge me more. "we should add $110 to the bill or you can just pay the bill as is" Because of this I would not recommend choosing Derksen as they do not know how to properly quote work or politely communicate with a customer after the work is complete.

Zero stars from me! Doerksen Plumbing sent someone out to estimate what I needed done. He said he'd get back to me early the next week. I never heard from them again. I called, I spoke to Andy who answers the phone, I left messages and nothing. Over 2 weeks later and no one got back to me. They are a big waste of your time. Go elsewhere!!!!

Had a plumber come uninstall and install a new dishwasher. He came early, got a phone call to let me know he could come before my appointment. He was clean and courteous. He leveled and tested the machine before leaving. Also fixed a leak from a different hose at the same time. Highly recommend Derksen plumbing. Jamie in reception and Aaron B. made my experience with them memorable. 100% recommend. Will use again.
