The entire Simploy team has been fantastic, from payroll specialist Julie McInerney to health insurance support, 401k navigation to their business development lead, Lewis Marty. My questions are always funneled quickly to the right people, and they pick up the phone when needed. They have helped us navigate some complex and quirky situations with ease and always with a positive attitude. Lewis in particular is wonderful to work with, and I cannot think of a single call with him that did not leave me smiling and feeling at ease. Because of their support, our nonprofit is able to stay focused on the impact work that matters most to us and the work we do best. It is such a relief knowing we do not have to manage this on our own. I highly recommend Simploy and their team.

I recently contacted Simploy regarding an issue with my paycheck, as I discovered my direct deposit information had been compromised. From the start, the interaction was disappointing and upsetting. Rather than feeling supported, I was met with blame and insensitive remarks, including being told that someone in my personal circle was likely responsible. Despite explaining multiple times that I wasn’t blaming anyone and simply wanted help, the tone remained accusatory and dismissive.

I was encouraged to call around to banks myself to track down the fraud, something I had hoped their team would take the lead on. Though I didn’t mind doing the legwork to recover my money, it felt like the burden was placed entirely on me. Hours later, I was told they were able to retrieve the funds, but not before being reminded how much of their time it had taken, and again urged to consider that someone I know may have stolen from me.

This was already a scary and vulnerable situation, and instead of reassurance, I felt more anxious and judged. A company handling sensitive payroll and personal information should focus on support, empathy, and clear communication, especially when a client has been a victim of fraud. Fortunately, my co-workers were incredibly supportive and helped me through this difficult time.

I’ve heard nothing but great things about Simploy as a business. What’s even more important to me, is the personal touch. Lewis Marty makes HR and benefits fun. He cares about the people he works with and truly wants what is best for them. Can’t recommend him - and Simploy - enough!
