I will start with the good and go from there. This hotel is fantastic as far as space, location, room size and service. We loved the space and we loved having all the things from home on vacation like an in unit washer/dryer and dishwasher. Everything is super walkable such as coffee shops, attractions, and food. The staff offered excellent service from the valet to the hotel. Overall I was very pleased with my experience. Zach, Ish, and Ty? And all of the other valet staff were great
And now for the bad of what makes me want to drop a few stars... Upon arrival after driving hours in the 90+ temps for 4th of July weekend expecting to hit the pool first thing the next day with our toddler we came to the front desk to check in only to see a "pool is out of service til further notice" sign sitting there quietly on a week of 90+ temps expected. I booked weeks in advance through the Marriott app, long enough to warn me that the pool was not in service. That was a big part of the attraction to that hotel. There was no warning to this in any messaging except an 8x11 paper on the reception desk. I imagine they knew that 90 percent would've canceled and booked elsewhere knowing that info ahead of time and the best they could do for a Titanium status guest was wave the fee for using the pool. Funny timing as the GM was conveniently out of town. They had known about the pool closure since June 30 when they lost access to it. I find it very greedy and misleading to not inform guest til they ask to use the pool after traveling for one of the biggest holiday weekends and spending their hard earned cash to get this crap. Shame on the GM for not being upfront with guest and offering anything other than a hot park with no shade and a splash pad. The hotel gets 5/5 but to whoever knew this advance and refused to inform us all should be ashamed for the lack of clarity and deserve a negative 5. Rant over. If you don't need a pool this place is great. If you want a pool cancel your reservation and look elsewhere and call ahead.

The hotel staff and the cleaning staff were never on the same page. The cleaning crew kept coming and knocking on my door asking if I was checking out a few different times during my stay. The hotel staff also kept insisting that the hotel “doesn't do 4PM checkout” even though I requested it in the app, and it got approved by someone. If this is hotel policy then it needs to be displayed in multiple places so there’s no confusion.

The hotel is also in a rough area and parking is not ideal because two days during the week, the streets are off limits for street cleaning. The hotel offers $50/night valet parking which is fine if you’re only staying a few nights.

Our room had a small kitchen area with stove and microwave and a dishwasher. This was nice because we stayed for a few weeks waiting for the house to close that we bought. But honestly, the layout is still tight because the living area is really small as is the bedroom.

Last thing I will say is that the hotel staff was just polite enough as they deemed necessary but definitely not friendly, which was evident when I brought issues to their attention that needed rectification.

We stayed at The Ann Savannah for several nights in June 2026 while visiting with our family, including our one-year-old. Overall, we had a great stay and would return, but there are a few areas where the hotel could improve.

The biggest strengths are the location and the property itself. The hotel is beautiful, the suites are spacious and well-designed, and it's within easy reach of Savannah's historic attractions. We also loved having Little James right next door—it became one of our favorite spots for coffee, breakfast, and a quick bite.

The valet team truly stood out. Shia and Ish were consistently warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. They greeted us every day with a smile and made coming and going effortless.

Where the experience fell a little short was housekeeping and the front desk. Our suite hadn't been cleaned as thoroughly as we expected before arrival—we found dust bunnies and small beads on the floor, which was concerning with a crawling toddler. We ended up doing a bit of cleaning ourselves. We also had to request additional supplies like trash bags and toilet paper more than once, and it took longer than expected to receive them. The first Pack 'n Play we were given was broken and had to be replaced, although the staff did resolve it.

The front desk was less welcoming than we had hoped. We completely understand that early check-in isn't always possible, but the interaction felt a bit dismissive rather than helpful or accommodating.

One thing to be aware of is that while the hotel itself felt safe and we never experienced any issues, there are a few surrounding blocks that seemed a little rougher than other parts of the Historic District, especially at night.

Overall, I'd give The Ann Savannah an 8/10. The beautiful property, excellent location, and exceptional valet staff outweighed the shortcomings, and we'd absolutely consider staying here again on a future visit to Savannah.

Overall a wonderful trip. We came for 2 nights. We enjoyed the walkable location, updated room/gym, and exceptional service. The people working there made this trip extra special. The valet attendants, front desk, and everyone we ran into in-between were kind and welcoming. We look forward to staying here again.

The Ann is a beautiful property in a perfect location the loft-style rooms and exposed beams are stunning. However, our arrival was a bit awkward. When we pulled up, the valet attendant stayed in her office and just looked at us before going back to whatever she was doing. She didn’t step out to acknowledge or help us until we had to knock on the door, which was a disappointing first impression. Once we got past that, the stay was great, but the service at the entrance definitely needs more of that Southern hospitality.

Big thank you to Nick, Whitney, Jaron, and the entire housekeeping team for this wonderful stay at The Ann Savannah, Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy.

We are traveling from New York to Key West, and this was by far the best stop along the way. We stayed three nights and truly cannot say enough positive things about the apartment.

It is very stylish and high-quality in its design, extremely quiet, and generously sized. There is plenty of storage space, a washer and dryer, a beautiful kitchen, a cozy living area, and very comfortable beds. Dishes and cutlery are a bit limited, but thanks to the excellent dishwasher (with tabs provided, as well as detergent for the washing machine), this was absolutely not an issue.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. Nick was able to accommodate a special request at check-in, for which we are very grateful.
We will definitely come back. For us, this is the first address in Savannah.

Oh—and the location is great as well: the Historic District is only a five-minute walk away.

Valet parking is somewhat expensive, so we recommend the nearby and very affordable Robinson Parking Garage run by the city.
Thank you again for a fantastic stay. Five stars.

My stay at the Ann Savannah Hotel was exceptional. I want to give special recognition to Whitney, who truly deserves accolades. We experienced a brief misunderstanding, and Whitney handled it with professionalism, care, and genuine kindness. We mutual acknowledged the misunderstanding and she resolved the matter promptly. Her leadership and customer service made a lasting impression.
The hotel itself is a beautifully repurposed warehouse—spacious, thoughtfully designed, and ideal for any length of stay. Little James is a hidden 💎 gem. The menu met my needs perfectly, and I enjoyed breakfast there each morning.
The live band on Friday night was a breath of fresh air, adding warmth and culture to the experience. A heartfelt thank you to Jazz the bartender, along with Josh and James, for excellent service and hospitality.
Overall, this was a standout stay. Whitney’s commitment to service excellence elevated the entire experience and should be formally recognized. I will absolutely return.

This was my first time staying here. I have stayed at 8 different hotels in Savannah. I was very impressed with the place and will definitely return.
Pros. - New hotel, very classy, big spacious rooms, quiet and safe, very dog friendly and descent location( right next to The Grey restaurant). Nice restaurant on premises.
Front desk was helpful when we inquired about a 4 bedroom to the point that they actually showed us the room . Very accommodating.
Cons.- Parking is $50 a day and don't expect the valet to tell you there is a self parking lot 2 minute walking distance from front, even after you ask him. Not good.
You need a fav to use the pool which is across street (no biggie) however the fav didn't work and there was not effort to correct it so we didn't see the pool.
The location is one block from a sketchy area of town so there is a little more homeless presence than other hotels, however we never felt uncomfortable because we are early birds so I can assume later at night it gets worse.
Ill definitely put this place on my rotation of Savannah hotels for future stays.

Very nice concept from Marriott. The apartment has a warehouse design with high ceilings, concrete floors and wood ceilings and frames. Room was spacious with plenty of closet space, washer and dryer, fridge, stove and dishes.
Parking is $50 a day for valet so do yourself a favor and use the lot 2 minutes away across from the courthouse.
The Riverwalk is about a 12 minute walk. I was originally put off by the bus depot across the street but the building is located in a mixed neighborhood and we had no problems.
Their restaurant, Little James, is across from their building but has a very limited food menu and really feels like an exceptional waste of property, which is why it's usually empty and even closed early when we were there. Other restaurants are within walking distance and again, river is within a 10 to 12 minute walking distance.
Katie was exceptionally polite and helpful! Kudos to her. The other front desk person, not so much. This is an extended stay concept so there is no daily housekeeping. Keep that in mind.
Overall, nice concept from Marriott and I would stay again.

What a fabulous hotel! Excellent accommodations. So much space. Nothing is nailed down, ypu are walking into a functioning apartment apartment complete with washer/dryer! After 10 days on the road that was a huge bonus. Someone said the location was in the hood. It is on the fringe of the projects and all the things you want to see. Valet parking is a must, but Uber or a on off trolley is best for getting around this lovely, quaint, historic destination. Gave it four stars for location because many will want the location to be central, honestly we preferred it here where the rooms are huge considering the tiny rooms in more upscale boutique locations.

This has been the most frustrating experience. We stayed in a 4 bedroom suite in July 2025. The actual property seemed really cute and was the layout we needed for a large family group. But that’s where the good ended unfortunately.

The AC units are so sub optimized, we couldn’t get cool air in most of the rooms unless we froze in one bedroom. Some of the doors didn’t close properly, we didn’t have enough utensils.
and they didn’t have any extra at the front desk, they ran out of pool towels every day (and the pool was in an apartment building across the street… they also didn’t have enough access cards for that either).

Also, after leaving, I checked my final bill and realized that I had been overcharged. It took 3 emails and multiple calls over 2 weeks (because the front desk is understaffed and only answers half the time) before finally getting a refund issued. And now it’s a week later and I just realized that they issued the refund back to the third party we booked through and not back to my credit card…. I was told a supervisor would call me back again, that’s yet to happen. So back to more emails.

This place has decent bones and may be good in the future, but unfortunately it’s run so poorly at the moment.

Fantastic experience!! Everything was absolutely perfect. Great location. Breanna at the front desk was an absolute doll. She helped us send a free post card and was always smiling. We also had the pleasure of having Josh take care of us at Little James bar. He made delicious cocktails and was so nice to talk to. Will definitely be going back to The Anne next time we’re in Savannah.

Excellent hotel! We had a 1 bedroom apartment style for 3 nights. It was quiet, well equipped, and comfortable. The front desk staff are very nice. You will need a key for the elevator, so be prepared when you board. The attached bar/restaurant seemed to host many events and live music.

The Ann offered a great balance of value and space. This was the most affordable place I couldn’t find for a short weekend trip to Savannah and it worked for my needs - a place to sleep and relax after exploring all the city has to offer. So if you’re looking for that then this spot is perfect.

It’s located near a lot of key places to see or is within decent driving distance. However parking is tricky and you’re most likely going to have to rely on their valet at $45 a night. They were short staffed on valet attendants so it often took a little while to get your car.

The space is aesthetically STUNNING from the lobby up to the rooms and even their cafe Little James. Service was good and staff was friendly from the valet attendant to the front desk personnel.

No issues with the room - it was spacious, bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Appreciate that it felt like a mini apartment so you felt at home.

Check out was seamless. Would stay here again!

If you like a place with a very new feel this would be great for you. It is very clean and everything seems like new construction. That being said there are a few issues that can be improved on. For example: There is no lighting in any of the closets, our key cards randomly stopped working, the bathroom fixtures seemed hastily installed and were falling off the wall and our toilet kept running. The dishwasher also didn't work. You have to valet park and there are sometimes issues with the app to get your vehicle called. That being said it was quiet, clean, with a comfortable bed and furniture. It was just a short walk to food options. (There are limited and pricey options provided at the hotel). So once they work out these new issues this place will be really good. The staff and service was fantastic.

I booked The Ann after discovering it on the Bonvoy app and reviewing the available information at the time. This was about three weeks before the hotel officially opened, so when reading reviews, keep in mind that it’s a brand-new property, and there may be minor adjustments as they settle in. However, we personally encountered no issues.

The check-in process was seamless, and Alex provided a thorough overview of the hotel’s amenities. I cannot say enough good things about Alex. He was always there to answer questions or respond to our requests. He really does an amazing job of taking care of the guests here. Our room exceeded expectations and was beautifully decorated with stylish furniture, comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen that had everything you could need. While it’s an excellent choice for small families, we found it just as enjoyable.

Little James, the restaurant next door, was a fantastic addition, offering great food, cocktails, and coffee drinks. Overall, a wonderful stay!

I highly recommend this great new concept by Marriott! The 2Br/2Ba apartment was spacious and about the same price as a generic hotel room in downtown. It was nicely appointed and we appreciated the little extras such as a W/D, laundry soap, coffee, hand steamer and an umbrella. There are also pumps of Grown Alchemist shampoo, soap, etc. in the bathrooms. We had a credit to use at the tiny market or restaurant, which was a nice bonus. Only downside was valet (no other option) and it was always a bottleneck. The curb parking and valet space was not properly thought through for this sized property, and I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like when the building is at full capacity. There’s only room for 3-4 cars at a time and service was slow.

We came during St Patrick’s day weekend. It was busy with people out for all the festivities. The beds are very comfortable.and the rooms were extremely clean. The area is nice for all the new buildings they’ve placed in an undeveloped neighborhood. They give you a 30$ credit that can be used daily at Little James or the hotel market and 2 hour free bike rental. I also like the complimentary umbrellas for the rainy days, nice touch. The reason I rated as low as I did was because of the noise. It has nothing to do with the busy weekend but because the walls are thin. You can hear someone having a regular conversation. This should not be the cause for a 400$ a night hotel.

This was a great place to stay and would love to see more properties like this. It’s a fully stocked apartment with many amenities in the shelves and closets. Kind of like an Airbnb but with out all the surcharges for cleaning and stupid check out instructions.

As a status member I got a $30 a day credit in their little market. There wasn’t much there to choose from, but we got chips, soft drinks, and candy, etc. There is no club room and no coffee in the lobby. If this place had an M Club it would be even better.

There is a really nice workout room and we understand there is an outdoor (unheated) pool but it was too chilly to go there.

The staff was friendly and the manager, Alex, was incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived at the Ann at Savannah on 2/14/25 and loved our accommodations so much we booked again on 2/15/25. The staff was courteous and the hotel was so beautiful! They were busy and yet we felt right at home.

We were introduced to, and greeting by management. Alex was the best host and made our stay experience even better than we could have imagined.

We loved the hospitality and the location. We stayed on foot all weekend. This hotel is going to be a major contender in the coming seasons! Thank you to all who welcomed us to your lovely city.
