Terrible bank, they are always a pain to deal with. The policies are different depending on the day and location. I own a local buisnes and will no longer accept checks by arvest bank as payment.

Calling to get some numbers on a vehicle load took them 3 hours on hold I’m immediately closing my account with you guys thanks.

Absolutely horrible bank. Deposited a cashier check for a funeral expense. This great bank decides it’s going to hold my funds for two weeks. Absolutely zero help in trying to resolve the issue. Will be closing my account.

Very Disappointing, I tried to exchange $9,000 $100 dollar bills for $20's since stores do not want to take $100's anymore which is another problem itself. But the Manager said they charged 10% for the exchange which was $900. So technically they tried to hustle a thousand dollars out of me for a quick even exchange which is outrageous. I Went to another arvest and they had no issue doing it and couldn't believe they tried this. Really need better management. Any legal tender should be perfectly fine to exhange "for free" or to make purchases with. If it was a 5 dollar charge for an exchange that'd be more understandable but 10% is a joke and should be illegal "especially" for a bank.

UPDATE: Thankful that Arvest provided such a terrible experience as it encouraged me to shop around for banks that might care about their customers. My wife and I opened an account at United Banking with a whopping 5% APY checking account. Something worth considering if you are looking for a new bank.

I've been an Arvest customer for many years, but what an absolutely INFURIATING experience this branch in particular has provided. My wife and I went to wire money to a joint account of ours, they charged $30 just to attempt it and then it failed after we gave them all the information we had from Fidelity.

My wife and I came in today to try again and were met with the most actively unhelpful employee we've ever experienced. Avoided answering questions, was purposely extremely vague and clearly didn't want to help us. We couldn't figure out what account numbers were needed for the wire and he just stood there like a wet sock on a mop handle like he was hoping we'd go away soon.

After several unanswered questions with us standing there asking them, I just tore up the wire form and walked out of the building. I will never go back to this branch although it's the closest to our house and may just stop using Arvest all together soon after this experience.
