She received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with honors with a Clinical Dentistry Certificate. She later completed advanced training in prosthodontics and received her a Certificate in Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her residency, she also earned a Master of Science degree in Oral Sciences for her research on zirconia materials for implant restorations.
