Our family retained attorney Ben Greenwald in Middletown, NY to represent my younger brother, and unfortunately, our experience was deeply unsatisfactory. Although we contributed part of the money needed for the legal services, Mr. Greenwald never visited my brother during his incarceration. Additionally, we were provided with legal guidance that ultimately resulted in a warrant being issued, further exacerbating an already difficult and stressful situation.

On May 7, we requested an itemized invoice detailing the legal services rendered. We were informed by the receptionist that it was “being worked on.” However, as of May 22, we still had not received the requested documentation. When I contacted the office again to follow up, the conversation became contentious with both the reception staff and Mr. Greenwald himself. We were informed that we were “not the clients,” despite being individuals who contributed financially to the services and who had consistently sought clarification and updates throughout the process.

Overall, we found the communication, professionalism, and transparency demonstrated by this office to be inadequate. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend their services.

I recently hired Benjamin due to a horrible situation I got myself in. I was really stressed out since I never had to look for a criminal defense lawyer before. But when I spoke to Benjamin on my consultation he made me feel very comfortable and was very thorough. He didn’t feed me no bogus promises. He told me exactly what my outcomes could be. About 11 years ago, I got two DWI’s and I had no money. My marriage is falling apart. First of all, let me start with I was a very skeptical person about lawyers, due to my experiences in the past. I searched for hours trying to find an honest and good lawyer to work with me on my case with a DUI. I found a lawyer that had a lot of good feedback and probably not even close to the amount he should have for people not leaving them. Ben has been nothing but a true professional And a great source of information with my case. The first time I showed up to court I had my friend take me that had no legs and in a wheelchair. Ben had no idea who I came with and when I got out of court, my friend said that Ben had asked if he needed any help and this was a total stranger to him, that alone made me think so much more highly of him that he thought that way about perfect Stranger. I did not take the breathalyzer test and he was able Help me get out of the DUI and the refusal with a disorderly conduct and no extra penalties for they refusal from the DMV court.
