He oversees research specifically in stillbirth, pregnancy after loss, immunologic diseases in pregnancy, and medical disorders in pregnancy. His work has resulted in numerous grants from NICHD and NHLBI and more than 400 peer-reviewed publications in many journals. These include the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of the American Medical Association. University of Utah Health’s Stillbirth Research Program is one of the research programs started by Dr. Silver. It provides support and resources for parents experiencing stillbirth.
