Her main reason for becoming a dentist is personal: Her own journey to correct peg lateral incisors adjacent to her front teeth involved years of orthodontic care. So she has a special appreciation for what smile transformation can do for a person’s confidence. After completing a one-year AEGD residency program—Advanced Education in General Dentistry—Dr. Thompson moved to Atlanta with her husband, Kip, who is a native of the Big Peach. They live in Brookhaven with their adorable twin daughters, Avery and Kaylan.
