I got my first home loan through West Coast Mortgage Group in 2002. Over the years I have used other companies, in other areas, and found there where always surprises at closing that where not disclosed to me through the process. Other companies have snuck in terms inside the fine print, that where not disclosed upfront, leaving me stuck at the closing table with a deal that just isn't quite what was promised. West Coast has always been the most straight forward of any loan company I have ever used. They always deliver on their promises, and do what they say they are going to do.

I was working with a lender that shall remain anonymous when I met Alex Martinez. His company’s marketing department was courteous, polite and very professional when they reached out to me mid-November. I believe the gentleman’s name to be Karl. After some consideration I decided to call them back.

Alex’s assessment of my financial standing, based on just my basic information I provided him, was very accurate on our initial conversation. From that moment on I felt I was in good hands. I quickly canceled my transaction with the former lender even though I had already paid for my appraisal. That is how much trust I placed on Alex and his West Coast Mortgage Group team.

Had it not been for the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend we could have closed in the same month we got started on my file. Mr. Martinez’s work was thorough and his explanations of the process concise. He was patient, deliberate and very knowledgeable. He anticipated potential setbacks and addressed them before they even became an issue. For that reason my approval came back super clean and were able to quickly move to the Clear to Close stage.
