Short version: horrible experience over multiple years from beginning to end. I do not recommend you get involved with this company.

Long version: I realize many customers have posted positive reviews of Infinity Solar. My experience was not at all positive. They did a great job on the new roof, but their solar panel implementation was bungled and incompetent, and cost me numerous hours in troubleshooting it myself and engaging in many failed communications with their "customer service".

They didn't match the panel serial numbers to the hardware controller; the only fix for this would be to remove and reinstall all the panels. They also didn't record the panel serial numbers at all -- I found the paperwork for this aspect in the trash after they left.

After the initial install, the system wasn't working due to missing hardware components -- it took them 7-8 months to get the correct components installed. The problem was there was no one on their team expert in the hardware implementation aspects of the job (or they just didn't want to send that person to my house to finish the job).

I even had a phone call with the company owner in which I reminded him they were in violation of the contract which placed limits on how much time the company has to completely finish the installation. They ended up refunding me the amount of five PSE bills to compensate for this.

The system then functioned for several years, but occasionally it would get disconnected from the wifi and it was a royal pain to get it reconnected. The company was no help in this; I had to figure it out by myself.

The latest customer service malfunction on their part happened recently when I informed them half the panels were showing twice the output of the other panels. They said they'd come to look at it but only if I paid a fee of around $250, which would be refunded if the tech found the explanation was due to their work.

Then several weeks later half the panels stopped reporting. I informed customer service and paid the fee for diagnosis.

The tech, who admitted to me he wasn't a tech, just a worker, went on the roof and looked around, then descended and told me there were two exposed wires which could have shorted out; and there was an imbalance in how the panels were assigned to the controller, and that could also cause the problem. Both of those issues derived directly from their initial work on the system.

But they refused to refund the diagnosis fee, even though it was their work that was faulty. So I will not be utilizing them to manage my solar panel system in the future. Why would I?

Team showed up was fast to work. Everything went accordingly with a few little hiccups on parts not being supplied as quickly as they needed. But professionals at best. Highly recommend these guys.

Installation crew was great. First time they came out it snowed they worked until they no longer could work. Second installation day didn't even know they where installing. The only time we could here them was when they where putting in the wires in the attic otherwise it was quiet no loud banging.
Then they came to the door and said they where finished.

Just waiting for inspection for solar to start working.

Our panels were installed in October and were made active in November of 2023. The installers did a good job and left our yard in great condition. We found only a few stray parts! We did have a problem right after installation with two of the panels not working. An installer came out and with the help of the office got them working. We’ve had no problems since then! Just had them cleaned this week. The installer was great and customer service has been great. I recommend Infinity Solar!

Infinity installed our solar panels a little over two years ago and they have been working great. The personal we have talked with and met were very helpful throughout the whole process, from sales, service and installation to assisting with the inspections. Our power bill is almost non existent. We are on a net metering program with our power company and we accrue enough credits through the year to offset our bill except for two months during the winter. At the time of installation, our budget didn’t allow us to purchase a battery storage system. Overall, we are very pleased to have taken the step to install solar. Thank you Danny (our salesman) and Infinity.
