I am reporting an incident of discrimination I experienced as a long-standing client of Truist, previously Bank Atlantic and BB&T, with over 22 years of loyal patronage. On December 21, 2023, at approximately 3:45 PM, I encountered unacceptable behavior from your staff that no customer should ever have to endure.

Upon utilizing the drive-thru service to deposit funds into my business account, I was met with a disrespectful gesture from the attending representative—a clear act of unprofessionalism. Subsequently, I entered the branch to seek assistance from a manager, only to be confronted by another associate who unjustifiably defended her colleague’s behavior by inappropriately invoking gender as a defense. This insinuation that her gender grants immunity from the standards of professionalism is both irrelevant and discriminatory.

This a gender discrimination.

Following this incident, I have contacted Truist National Customer Service to file a formal complaint and report the details of the encounter.

I trust that Truist values its customers and upholds a standard of equality and professionalism that was not reflected in this incident.

Personnel in this branch are rude and unprofessional, so sad that I had to experience bad customer service. If people don’t like this kind of job better find another one that doesn’t involve them dealing with customers. Never coming back.
