I honestly cannot say enough good things about Andrew and his crew. We had a backwater valve put in after being impacted by the recent st Catharines rain with sewer water flooding, twice! He let us know all our options and helped us move forward with a decision that fit our budget. He called the city to gather information about FLAP program for us and clarified all our questions. What I loved:
1. Turn around time - I submitted a query at night and the next morning I was called. Since he was in the neighborhood, he made it by the same day to scope out drains and see what we were dealing with. We submitted the permit and the next day they were able to start.
2. Professional - the crew that came for the work laid down a carpet liner (even though the carpet was a total loss from the flooding) and were even going to put up plastic to prevent dust from spreading. (We said they didn't need to bother since demo was happening all over the basement.) They took the time to carefully chip the tile away from the floor in a way that we could easily reinstall.
3. White Glove - if there is a level above white glove, Pryde does that. I never felt like I was asking stupid questions. I was able to text at any time and got a quick response. Again, Andrew hand held the entire inspection process and was present to explain everything to the inspector. When they scanned our line they found a partially collapsed pipe at the street and sent me a description with videos and pictures so that I could report the issue to the city.
4. Fair - I found the pricing to be exceptionally fair. They weren't the lowest or highest. I never felt like I was being pressured to do something more. In fact, Andrew went above and beyond to help us have a high level of certainty that we don't have any weeping tiles connected to the sewer. This gave us the confidence to avoid spending a lot of money on a sump pump+pit and satisfied the insoector. We will likely have them do interior waterproofing with the sump pump in the near future, but it was a relief to know it didn't need to happen right now amidst everything else we need to deal with from this flooding.

We only wish they did more than sewer and waterproofing!

Andrew was great. We had poorly installed sump pumps and discharge system, he came and fixed the issue quickly. Him and Nick were Punctual, professional, timely and transparent would highly recommend.

Very pleasant experience with this company. They did a great job installing our backwater valve. The price was reasonable, the work was done professionally, and they provided photos throughout the entire process so we always knew what was happening.
They also helped us apply for the city rebate, which made everything much easier. Communication was excellent, and every step was handled promptly and efficiently.
Highly recommend!
