It does'nt matter how many times you clarify a request with the Pharmacy team, they get it wrong. And they write it down!!! Then they tell you " we didnt say that" This is the worst Shoppers Pharmacy in the city!!!!

I have been using this branch for over 10 years. They use to have good (average) service.... Now (since about 2010) they are going down hill. Most of the people are still friendly, but they desperately need mangement in this branch's pharmacy.

Everytime I drop off a perscription the wait and service is unbelievable. Even if it is faxed over by my doctor. They have lost my prescriptions, I have called in an hour prior to coming in, being guaranteed that the perscription would be filled. In getting there, it is not ready and I am told another 3 hours or even the next day. Within the last year I unfortunately have had many perscriptions and I have never been so irritated and dissapointed in the service of this pharmacy. I have always gone to this one location since they opened. I don't know what has changed, but the next step is making a complaint to the better business bureau or higher up in shoppers drug mart. The store staff are all wonderful and helpful but obviously, this store needs a more organized group of staff and owner in the pharmacy.

The Alta Vista Shoppers Drug Mart used to be very good but over the last couple of months (since approx. Oct. 2010) things have gotten very bad. It seems that there is a serious shortage of staff especially in the pharmacy area. Previously prescriptions were quickly filled, now you are lucky if it a prescription is ready when they said it would be. Again today we went to pick up a prescription that we called in yesterday and were told to pick up today. It was not ready and we were advised to come back tomorrow. This is the 3rd time this has happened. In speaking with another client he said he has been waiting 2 weeks for a prescription.
Message to the owners of this Shoppers Drug Mart, please sort this out or you will lose a lot of clients as there are a number of other pharmacies around that are more efficient.
