I deeply regret not reading the reviews before buying and installing flooring from LL Flooring (formerly Lumber Liquidators).

Just one month after installation, the boards in my living room began fracturing and cracking in multiple spots. Fortunately, this was the only area where I used their product.

I spent nearly four weeks working with their customer service team, only to end up with the same conclusion they could have shared from day one: the issue was due to my contractor not sufficiently drying the concrete slab or performing a proper moisture test—despite the concrete having cured for two full months before installation.

It’s disappointing how quickly they shifted blame elsewhere instead of taking any responsibility for their product’s performance under normal conditions. In my experience, LL Flooring does not stand behind their materials when problems arise.

If you’re considering purchasing from them, please take the time to read these kinds of real customer experiences first. I wish I had—maybe it would have saved me the frustration, cost, and hassle of dealing with a faulty floor so soon after installation.

Please note the employees in the store have nothing to do with the product. They’re all very professional and courteous. Unfortunately Lumber Liquidators no longer has a site to post reviews, except locally. Passing the problem onto the store level. If you read all the reviews on line, you will see this is and has been a defect in the product.

Brandon was an excellent sales representative for Lumber Liquidators. He knew his flooring and highlighted the great features of different qualities of vinyl. He also discerned what might be an issue with sound and directed us to consider a padding. I got it. I wear sensitive hearing aids and sounds makes a big difference for quality of life. I bought their best.
With out a good sample on the floor he arranged me to see the flooring at different store. It made the difference. Brandon is a wealth of knowledge on flooring so stop in. He was courteous and did his best to answer questions. I love the sale price and 30 day guarantee.
