Southern Care Hospice responded quickly when my friend’s mother transitioned unexpectedly. Because of their prompt action, we were able to bring her home, where she could be in a peaceful and comfortable environment. We are so grateful for the support they provided — their love, compassion, and dedication were truly evident in the care they gave.

It was the worst experience of my life! I was involved with my wife was the patient. My spouse also has a chronic mental illness and has been quite psychotic. Whilst having delusions, she said I had been beating her up. Net thing I know, they’re gone and unbeknownst to me, they had my daughter become power of attorney and signed her into a long term facility without my even knowing. So, instead of spending this little time together, I will likely never see her again. Horrible

Daisy was extremely rude and unprofessional. I called her to explain to her that nurses are just showing up beating on my father’s door that has dementia without knowledge of them coming over. The Freda nurse decided she was going to be on my father’s door without calling or texting us first. When I told Daisy, this was unacceptable, she just brushed me off to the side and didn’t care that the nurse did this like how would she feel if her father was getting treated like this? There was no communication of the days changing, nothing. If this is really how they treat patience nurses just do whatever they want without Communication?

Southern Care Hospice is hands down the best hospice company to provide care. I have worked with many different hospice providers in the area. I am a medical Case Manager and have recommended Southern care to many of my patients over the years. Tiffany Beeler makes referrals quick and easy and responds to families within an hour of a referral. The staff (RN’s, Attendants, Social Workers, and Chaplain) services and care are excellent. I have never had any families complain about SCH and are appreciative of the support and care and education they receive for their loved ones. I would personally choose Southern Care for hospice services for my loved one or myself if needed. I highly recommend this company.
