This is the only place you can trust to get fresh awesome beer from great breweries. They have the classics like Fidens and Brujos while doing some great local collabs. Great staff with even better suggestions.

The guy in charge (maybe the owner IDK) did things the way I like. I said I wanted a particular german beer, he didn’t have it but had one he thought was better. I told him I wanted a hazy ipa and a Bordeaux wine at a good price. He said “I got you covered” and went and got them. That is exactly what I wanted to happen, no wishy washy whiney stuff. Good job!

Decided to stop by when on a road trip and I am very happy I did. Some of the best selection of beers in a single store I've found in a decade. Barleywine, stout, Belgian beers all available and not overpriced. Helpful dude at the register willing to make recommendations and help me carry out a case. Strongly recommend folks who miss good beer selection, used to seeing be quantity, stop by to check it out.

Finally made it over to Corks and Kegs. I showed up nervously googling different types of wine to pair with my friends birthday dinner. I gave up and asked the owner and it took him all of 2 seconds to make selections that would pair well with the dinner.

He also found me a couple gluten-free sours. 😭😭😭 I thought I had to give up beer forever.

Also, the shop dog is super cute! Say hi to Duke for me.

If I could have given zero stars I would have due to my recent experience. Called on a Thursday to reserve a keg. Paid for everything over the phone. Went in a few days later to pick it up, and it was not the keg I ordered. The one I ordered they did not have in stock, and could not get it for several more days. The person that took my order on the phone wrote it down wrong. I drove 1hr and 45 minutes, and they were like sorry for your luck. This was my first experience with Corks and Kegs, and it will be my last.

Joey is awesome! He always picks out a new beer to try for our keg, while always remembering what type of beer we prefer! … On my last visit Alton picked out a brown ale that is by far the best I have had! These guys customer service is above par! Highly recommended! Also would like to give a shout out to Duke! 5 stars to him!

I live 4 hours away but always make sure to stop in when passing through.

I normally don't give google reviews, but this place has become a must-visit for me during my time in Richmond, so I had to give y'all a shout out. I've been big into craft beer for quite a few years, so I mean it when I say that Corks and Kegs is easily the best bottle shop I've come across in the city (and maybe ever?). Keep up the great work guys, you know your stuff and also have very cute puppies.
