Spent a half hour with the owner/manager going through our requirements for a set of custom wedding invitations. First impressions were good, they had a wide variety of designs and card stock.
After finalizing two quote requests he assured us they would get back to us with a quote, but a week later we hadn't heard from them. We tried calling during business hours but the call went straight to voicemail, so we left our details on their answering machine. Two days later with no response, we tried calling again and talked to a real person who was brief to the point of rudeness, but promised a call back with our quote. Again, no response for a day.
So I finally drove back to their office to see what was up, the owner recognized me but had not started on the quote, and couldn't find the original quote request we had worked together on. He offered to start over with a new quote but at that point I decided to cut my losses. If they can't summon up the courtesy to return a client's polite calls how could you really trust them for any important contract?
