We gained much knowledge with our tour guide Bambi. She spent time at each stop on our Yorktown tour to explain the history beyond that of what was on a wall or in a field. If you ever have time to take the Yorktown tour, we would highly recommend having Bambi as your tour guide.

I enjoy touring university campuses when I travel so today I was really excited about visiting William and Mary college in Williamsburg. Our guide, Bambi, was amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history connected to the college and our founding fathers. She guided us through the Christoper Wren building, which was really interesting, pointed out architectural elements throughout the campus and took us to walk on the charming Crim Dell Bridge. If you’re a history buff or just want to see a beautiful college campus then this tour is top notch!

Our Jamestowne to Yorktown tour with Bambi was fabulous. She picked us up right on time. She had packed our favorite snacks for the day, which she had asked about earlier.

Our day of discovering the history of our great nation began in the car on our way to our first stop. Her knowledge and ability to share with you about our history in an entertaining manner is impressive. She was able to answer all of our questions throughout the entire day.

Bambi also enhanced the exhibits by inquiring additional questions to the exhibitors so we could get the most out of our experience.

Even though the visitor centers were closed she helped me find a private glass blowing exhibit which also had the passport stamps making the visit a success! Thanks Bambi.

You will not be disappointed you scheduled a tour with Bambi so schedule it today.

What an absolutely incredible tour with Bambi. We were visiting Williamsburg as part of a conference for Christian, State Farm women agency owners from all across the country and decided we wanted to know a little bit more about America’s roots and feel like we got more detail and background than we ever did in school. Bambi was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever encountered and was patient and knowledgeable and took us to some of the most pivotal places in our countries history in this area. I can’t recommend this tour enough. We had an absolute blast.

If you only have a few hours to visit the place or you want a panoramic overview before exploring on your own, this is your best option.
The tour was exclusive for our group of 3, so it felt like a continuous and casual conversation. Bambi is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, so you feel really comfortable and invested in the walk. She promised that the tour is adjusted to your interests, and certainly felt that way; sometimes highlighting many historic events and their importance to the birth on the Nation, she also shared lots of interesting facts about the daily life in the XVIII Century.

This was the best tour and tour guide I have ever had. I brought my two grandsons 13 and 11 and they were so engaged in all the history and the way it was explained. Highly recommend BWT! Everything about our Yorktown Tour experience was exceptional. Booking was simple, logistical communications were prompt and clear. Bambi picked us up at Williamsburg Inn, asked about our preferences and then filled the day with interesting historical references and stories. She used a voice amplifier to ensure all passengers could hear clearly along the route and offered us snacks and drinks. Bambi was very knowledgeable about all topics and complimentary of the interpreters from the sites we visited. She provided detail accounts on all aspects of the time from land formation, battles, troop movements and daily life.
