Such a fun and cute place! Drinks are good. View from the rooftop is nice. The first floor was doing a private event when I went so didn’t get a chance to go there, but the second floor was awesome. Love the 70s theme!

Madi the bartender was such a lovely and kind woman! She really made the experience great! My only gripe is that they did not play a lot of 70s and 80s music which was the reason we went. The repeated old songs they did play multiple times throughout the night rather than mixing in other songs. Aside from that it was a great night with great service!

Michael is the best bartender. He makes sure he gets to everyone and doesn’t miss a single person. He’s super kind and attentive. Makes the best drinks and has the best attitude! Would be one of the reasons I come back.

For everyone reading reviews about Good Night John Boy…. I’ve been to this establishment since it was Seesaw. I’ve never caused problems, always stayed reserved, and spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars of my hard earned money to come here to enjoy myself.

On May 9th of 2026, late night, I was alone smoking a cigarette waiting for the Sean Strickland fight to start, a group of boys approached me on the patio, not speaking English and mocked me. I did not know them, nor did I ever speak to them. I got up to leave in such a rush, I left my phone on the table I was at, along with the 2 drinks I didn’t drink and they all assaulted me in front of the staff and bystanders. No one did anything to stop them and they walked out untouched. I was punched in the head multiple times and went to the ground, then kicked in the head. I was knocked unconscious and woke up covered in blood. I was told by responding police officers they were told “I didn’t want to press charges, so they walked…”

I suffered a laceration to my mouth that was sewn shut, I need reconstructive surgery to my face, along with nerve and ligament damage in my left hand that also needs surgery, welts all over my head, and a severe concussion. This knocked me out of work and caused a financial burden in my life.
I asked Good Night John Boy to preserve all evidence and footage to its original form to be turned into Columbus PD. I was told they did so and two months later it is now “missing”…

There was also a staff member sitting with that group that night as well before they jumped me…

I’m disgusted by Good Night John Boys response to this. I was not “intoxicated” and couldn’t cooperate because I was beaten unconscious & swallowing my own blood, nor did I start anything to deserve this, I only had two drinks that night and have my banking records to prove it. Didn’t even drink the ones I had at this bar that I paid for, $31.53 to get put in the hospital.

Do NOT come to this bar for your own safety. The staff, security, and police they hire do not care about patrons, just their money and protecting criminals like the ones that jumped me. Too busy playing grab ass instead of doing their job. Might be a someone at this bar, but you all are nothing outside those doors. I hope you all go to hell for letting this get to this point and not defending a victim of undeserving crime in your bar.

You all do not have a moral compass and it’s sickening.

I had a great experience here and will definitely be coming back. The atmosphere was amazing and the overall vibe really stood out compared to other bars in the area. It felt welcoming, energetic, and just the perfect place to relax and have a good time. The music and crowd created a fun environment without feeling overwhelming, and everything about the space made it easy to enjoy the night.
