Look no further, book a morning tour and see everyone study for state board before opening to clients. No other school offered a classroom setting and salon setting. This school did offer the largest barber kit and even uniforms. Woman owned, woman ran, all women who have actually worked in the field and add hands on experience. If you pick am or pm shift it won’t matter because all instructors have been there years and truly care to help you grow just always communicate. This is an adult school and in the end it will depend on the student and their effort to stay on top of their hours and paperwork. You will benefit the most networking with your classmates! Everyone has different backgrounds and learn differently so talk and observe one another techniques. Space can be crowded at times but everyone adjusts and gets their turn with clients. Ms Erika for MVP, that lady practically lives there, she’s passionate about her job and it shows🙏🏽 But don’t be fooled she’s a barber too like Ms Heather. Ms Heather I appreciate you always being the much needed balance in a room full of different personalities:) No one else can pull that off without your kindness. I witnessed the staff and student go out their way to adjust to meet the clients special needs for services. This school sends out a lot of student surveys to hear you out and keep their student packages updated. Thank you all for making a school for all adults with different backgrounds!

Today I went to get a haircut shoulder length and it ended getting it shorter, which I was not happy. I told her like layers because my hair was damage by being thin and no chemicals. Anyway once the instructor check she was so rough with combing my hair and ear several times to make sure the student's work was done right. But she also poke my scalp with her long nails and no apology. Before I went out she told her student to slight dry my hair but, after I told her she was hurting my scalp, she told the student not to blow dry it. I paid for services and this is part of her job because that is how she has a job. Her name is Fran she was so rude just throwing to you if she checks your hair which I hope not make sure she does not treat you like her mannequin doll.

I had my long wavy hair dyed evenly with a beautiful shiny true red color. The icing was a natural blow dry style. I received many complaments. I began going to this school 2 months ago, each experience is more amazing than the last time. Very friendly atmosphere and welcoming. I'm going again tonight, love being pampered
