Edgewood Studio did a closet transformation into a custom built in with cabinets on the bottom and display shelves on top. I absolutely love how it turned out. My first piece is a lovely walnut coffee table with brass details. My second, an extendable walnut dining table with butterfly leaves for the extension also with brass details so that it matches the coffee table. Joseph did a fabulous job of designing the pieces, selecting the wood, and cutting it so that the grain and whorls shine through. Especially on the dining table - the leaves extend out beautifully and accentuate the natural wood planks. The coating on the surface eliminates any issue with cup or glass stains - perfect when you have a messy family! It's wonderful to have your vision come to life in custom made, unique pieces of functional art. In addition, Joseph refurbished a folding table - sourcing high end walnut veneer and accessories. The brass and other fittings in all the pieces are top quality - they are solid and sturdy. I waited over 20 years to find the right person to make my tables. Joseph and his studio is the right place to go for design and execution.

My husband and I saw Edgewood Studio's work at a juried Arts & Crafts show and knew right away that we wanted to have Joe make a mirror for us. He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish—detailed oriented, sent photos to help us decide on the design and gave us a time frame (which he met earlier than expected). We love our mirror (gorgeous wood, beautifully crafted, nontoxic finish) and plan to work with Joe again in the future.

I teach a High School class titled Architectural Physics in Massachusetts. I found Edgewood Studio and asked them to make 4 seismic table for our class to be able to test different structural models and how they react to a simulated earthquake or seismic event. Edgewood Studio did an absolutely AMAZING JOB!!! The students and the teachers were so happy to have them. The students now spend hours building and testing their architectural models with the Seismic tables Joe made for us. Joe was innovative in helping to overcome some design challenges and his craftsmanship in making the tables was detail oriented and they are built extremely well! Thank you Joe!! and Edgewood Studio!!! We were so lucky to have found you!
Please come visit our school at the end of the Fall semester when we test our final projects!

Our experience with Joe of Edgewood Studio was a fantastic one. The communication throughout the process was excellent, as Joe took the time to discuss different species of wood, the look we were going for, and sharing pictures of raw slabs to choose from. We are beyond happy with the finished pieces (a bar countertop, a vanity countertop and living room mantle), and it’s nice to know that Joe will have his stamp on a portion of our new construction forever home. The craftsmanship is second to none, and the install was seamless. I look forward to working with Edgewood Studio in the future as our home evolves, and would highly recommend Joe’s work for anyone looking to have a truly special item for their home.
