We made multiple requests, both verbally and in writing, to decline optional add-on services. Despite this, the lease agreement was repeatedly generated with those upcharges included. Be sure to review your final paperwork line-by-line before signing to ensure you aren't locked into unnecessary extras.

Avoid at all costs!!! I’d give 0 stars if I could.
This company demonstrated a consistent lack of professionalism, transparency, and accountability. Verbal commitments made during our move-out inspection were later reversed. Charges were applied for pre-existing damage. Contractual timelines were not honored. Communication was inadequate throughout the process. Our security deposit was heavily deducted when the house was in good condition. I had to pursue legal action (the judge ruled in our favor) just to resolve matters that should have been straightforward. I would not rent from this company again. Worst rental experience I’ve ever had. Very unprofessional. Rent elsewhere.

I have been using Byrd Management for leasing a home now nearly 3 years.
Very professional , quick response and follow through on all our needs. Also their team of subcontractors for repairs , service and maintenance have been very professionally and communication with us over above has been the best !

On a scale of 1-10 , I rate Byrd Management a 10 !!!!

Byrd Property Management made the whole application and move in process straightforward and stress free. Communication was always quick and clear and they kept it personal the entire way through. At one point I asked for a small change in the lease and within minutes I had an updated version in my inbox. That kind of responsiveness really stood out. It is rare to find a management company that’s this easy to work with and I really appreciate how smooth they made the transition.

Had the HVAC go out in my first few weeks of moving in. Texted Morgan and entered a maintenance request through portal. It was extremely easy and Morgan actioned it ASAP! I was able to have a maintenance tech come out and quickly sort the issue and replace a bad capacitor on the HVAC system. It was important and the inside temps were getting extremely high and were affecting my pets. Much appreciated the quick and expedient actions. The tech also kindly reminded me not to forget my garage door was open before departing. Prior to this on my initial move in, my items for house weren’t here yet as moved from overseas, Morgan kindly set me up with and air mattress so wasn’t sleeping on the floor. That was so appreciated and above and beyond for customer service. If I were to rent my own property, I would most likely choose Byrd Property Mgt.

We rented from Byrd for the last year and were satisfied with our experience compared to working with other “landlords”. Communication and getting quick responses lacks at times (hence the 4 instead of 5-star), but the biggest thing to keep in mind when working with any landlord is that they have to play the part of both sides—catering to the owner and the tenant. We believe that Byrd does an amazing job at this. They believe in honesty and complete transparency, which is lacking among many other companies in the area. They aren’t outrageous with move-out requirements and don’t withhold your money for nit-picking reasons. These guys work literally around the clock for their clients—that is true dedication and is so valuable. We own our new home, but if we ever had to go back to renting, Gary and the Byrd PM team would be first on our list. Thank you for your hard work! :)

I'm the paint contractor for them and there properties are very well kept and they definitely want things done right in between tenants so that the next tenant has as fresh of a look as possible.
