I can't thank Matt Danahy and his team enough for all their help in finally ending my stressful "saga" with my home owners insurance company and my claim from Hurricane Ian which started in Sept. 2022. We had a 100 ft. tree, land across my entire house at 130mph with us inside.
I was referred to Matt to handle a bad faith claim, after my first attorney finally settled my initial claim with my insurance company. After several years of dealing with trying to settle my initial claim and finally achieving that, now thanks to Matt and his team, we can now move on from this horrible experience. I hired Mr. Danahy on the recommendation from my attorney to place a bad faith claim against my homeowners insurance company. Mr. Danahy successfully negotiated a settlement with the insurance company to my very happy satisfaction within 6 months of his starting my case. To put this in perspective and to see what an outstanding job he did, my first claim (which had to go through the Appellate Court) took 6 yrs to settle. This was due to the fault of insurance company stalling at every turn. I was so pleased that I did not have to go through arbitration, mediation or to court. The settlement amount was way more than expected. Mr. Danahy and his staff were great to work with and always responded to any concerns i had in a timely manner.
