I bought my NV 2.0 about 5 years ago. We use this a lot during the riding season here in KY and mainly have it stored during the freeze / thaw winters. My ratcheting arm failed and would pop out - so I contacted Ross at Kuat support. After several back and forth explaining the issue, Ross did not point towards regular wear and tear but instead offered to ship replacement parts for repairs. I will obviously pay for these parts - but up to the point of shipping out these parts - he never mentioned anything about having to pay for a part. This company stands by their designs and products and wants us to have several years of trouble free usage. I don’t know of another company that will do this. I’m hooked on supporting Kuat! Thank you Ross!

This review is for their customer support and product quality. Being transparent, I bought a Kuat 2 bike rack from a local FB marketplace person. I did not like the 1.25" - 2" adapter it came with. I sent a customer service inquiry to Kuat and got a response from Ross B. Let me say, this guy was incredible. Not only did he happily answer all my questions, he did so in a timely and accurate matter.

He recommended a lower end adapter (and ramp for my wife's e-bike) to prevent any wobble issues I was having with the aforementioned 1.25-2" adapter. I'm confident when the parts arrive, I will be happy. I love the rack for its quality and the no frame tough set-up.

Now, if I could afford it, I would have also bought the swing-away adapter that allows me to open either my truck tailgate or suv rear hatch without removing the bikes. Nonetheless, thanl you Ross B for being so nice and Kuat for their quality. I'd recommend Kuat to anyone without hesitation.

Four months ago, I purchased the Kuat IBEX D2 for my truck, initially drawn to its clean design that follows the vehicle’s lines instead of looking bulky or overly rugged.

I built my truck specifically for a cross-Americas expedition from Canada to Chile and back, and I’m currently in Brazil on that journey. While traveling through Venezuela, unfortunately, the rack broke.

To be completely honest, my first thought was that this was going to be another frustrating experience dealing with a warranty claim. From my previous experiences with off-road companies, I was expecting the usual hassle and was prepared for the company to look for reasons to deny the warranty.

Kuat completely changed that expectation.

From the very beginning, Kristy and Jeanna were incredibly helpful, understanding, and professional. They went above and beyond to guide me through the entire process and, most importantly, they treated me like a customer they genuinely cared about—not just another warranty claim.

What impressed me the most was that I’m currently in Brazil, thousands of miles away from Kuat and far outside the US and Canada, yet they still went out of their way to help arrange shipping for the replacement rack to my location. That level of support means a lot when you’re in the middle of a major expedition and relying on your equipment to keep moving forward.

I’m genuinely grateful to the entire Kuat team, and especially to Kristy and Jeanna, for everything they did to help me. They turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a surprisingly positive experience, and their support will allow me to continue my journey.

This experience showed me that Kuat isn’t simply interested in selling products. They genuinely stand behind what they build and care about their customers having a great experience. The IBEX D2 is not only beautifully designed, but also robust, well-built, and capable of handling serious overlanding use.

I’ve owned products from many different off-road and overlanding brands over the years, and I can honestly say I’ve never experienced customer service like this before. Kuat exceeded my expectations by a long shot.

I’m looking forward to adding more Kuat accessories to my truck in the future, and I would wholeheartedly
recommend Kuat to anyone considering their products.

Have always kinda loved Kuat. Love them even more after visiting HQ to pick up a small part to fix my rack (that I broke). Everybody was super friendly and they comp’d my replacement part which was a nice bonus! Customer for life here

Lending another voice to commend Küat for the absolute BEST customer service for their amazing bike racks. Recently I purchased a Sherpa 2.0 rack, just the perfect size for my car and I could tell the materials were top-notch. I was having atypical trouble with the assembly and reached out via email. MULTIPLE PEOPLE ON STAFF replied and provided such great help that I had the entire rack put together and mounted by myself in no time. Special shout out to Dee for being so understanding and supportive. Will always recommend this company to others for a quality product and quality folks who stand behind them! 👏👏👏
