Prior to joining our team here at Columbia, she practiced as a rheumatology infusion therapy nurse. During this time, she gained expertise in the treatment and care of rheumatology patients as well as participated in investigative studies for new medications within the field. Collaborating with the attending physicians, Lauren provides patient-centered care for a wide variety of rheumatologic conditions including Gout, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Spondylarthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Sjogren’s, and Lupus. She functions as a liaison for patients by providing support for patients and their families as they navigate their care within the multidisciplinary team.
