Absolute waste of time—incredibly disorganized and frustrating

I had a highly disappointing experience at the Skin & Laser Center today, on July 15, 2026. I scheduled an appointment well in advance and gave them all of my insurance information over the phone during booking.

When I arrived today, they suddenly told me they couldn’t accept my insurance. When I asked why they even booked the appointment in the first place—given that they had my details the entire time—they had no good explanation.

To make matters worse, I offered to just pay out of pocket (self-pay) so, I wouldn't waste my trip. They refused that too, claiming they aren't allowed to accept self-pay from someone who has an insurance plan they do not accept.

Unprofessional, terrible communication, and zero regard for their patients' time. Avoid this place if you want a clinic that actually has its administrative act together.

Unfortunately I gave this office three chances to diagnose my skin issue over 6-9 months, but each time was a different assessment done. 9 months later my condition was not resolved and I ended up going to a well known dermatologist who was surprised of the medications this office prescribed. Further - I feel this office is more like a place of ‘business’ and not a Doctor office. I feel they charge your insurance left and right without fully focusing on your treatment. I do not recommend this place of business at all.

I had an excellent experience with Dr.Lieb at SLCNJ following my ATV laser treatment.From start to finish, the care was outstanding. The procedure itself was not painful at all, and Dr Lieb was extremely communicative throughout the entire procedure, explaining each step and checking frequently to make sure I was comfortable. The level of attentiveness really put me at ease and I am so glad I went through with the procedure.
Dr Lieb is clearly very knowledgeable and professional and I felt confident I was in great hands. I’m very happy with how smoothly everything went and with my results so far. i also want to highlight the excellent front desk service. Camilla was wonderful, friendly, efficient and welcoming. She made the check in and out process effortless and set a great tone for the visit. Highly recommend Dr. Lieb and the entire team at SLCNJ!

Dr. Lieb is amazing. She has been my doctor for over 15 Years. Her staff is amazing. The other doctors are wonderful as well. I highly recommend This doctors office for the whole family. My two children and my husband come here as well. They have walk-in availability for emergencies. They are very accommodating And professional and super clean And knowledgeable

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Skin and Laser Center of NJ. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted by an office staff that is genuinely accommodating, pleasant, and incredibly organized. Scheduling is effortless — whether you prefer making an appointment or taking advantage of their convenient walk-in hours, they make it work for you.
The medical team is just as impressive. The doctors and NP are exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, and patient. They take the time to explain everything clearly and make you feel completely comfortable, never rushed. It’s rare to find a practice where you feel so confident and cared for at every step.

Several members of my family — from adults to children — are patients here, and every single one of us has had an outstanding experience. The providers are wonderful with kids and equally attentive to adults, which makes it so convenient to have one trusted place for everyone’s dermatology needs.

The nurses deserve special recognition as well. They are responsive, compassionate, and always quick to return calls with answers about questions or test results. That level of communication provides such peace of mind.
