ASK Legal helped me getting rid of nightmare tenants who refused to pay rent for a year. They are not only knowledgeable in RTA, but are also good at negotiations. They are also good at communicating with clients and makes sure that you understand subtle things that can easily be overlooked. On top of that, they would really think from your perspective, and remind you the priorities and what's the best to do.

Hopefully I will not need their help again, but I would highly recommend someone to use their service!

ASK Legal helped me over a many-years long case that kicked off in early 2020 (guess what else happened at that time!) and always worked with myself and my partner to come up with ideas and solutions on how to handle our case. They always were listening to us and making sure it wasn't about just getting the case done, but also paying attention to specifically the things we cared about.

Not everyone has the same goals with legal cases, and I never felt like ASK Legal did anything but focus on ours.

ASK Legal was careful to go over everything we'd need to know about the processes, and what we'd have to do, and let us decide which elements we wanted to handle and which elements they would handle.

Importantly, critically, when actually going before the Landlord Tenant Board, our representation presented themselves incredibly professionally, clearly knew not only the process, but the people in the legal systems in Toronto, and knew the laws and rules well enough to routinely present our case well.

I got to watch other cases first hand going through all this, and our representation through ASK Legal was easily the best I saw. Other representatives were sloppy or forgetful. Some were timid, some were incredibly aggressive, to the point of brash rudeness. Our representation with ASK Legal though? A fantastic mixture of firm but calm communication, steering conversations in a way that demonstrated knowledge of the rules but never came off as arrogant, while also not giving ground unnecessarily.

Strongly recommend that others take a consultation with them, see if the fit is right for you. I would gladly have them in my corner again in the future.

Very happy with the results Ask Legal delivered for us. We were in a tough situation with tenants who hadn't paid rent for nearly a year. We tried managing the court system on our own with mixed results, not understanding the rules and procedures that needed to be followed. Ask Legal turned the situation around, even under tight timelines and with a case stacked against us. The ABSOLUTE BEST!!! There is no other representative you want on your side. TRUST ME, I am a 'tireless researcher' and called/interviewed practically every lawyer/paralegal in Toronto, when we were facing eviction. We ONLY wanted Anthony to represent us, he genuinely cares and provided a real human touch whenever we spoke with him. As a landlord, we were facing a tough tenant. After a long search for the best paralegal services in Toronto, I hired Anthony of ASK Legal to represent me at court. When I first spoke to him, I knew he will win the case due to his sense of logic and reasoning. Given a tight timeline, he took on the responsibility and made sure that he could help me win the case. What makes Anthony different from others is his way of approaching the case; he knew the law very well, and moreover, knows how to use the law to advocate in court. Despite only having few days to prepare for the case, Anthony was able to direct me and work diligently through the weekend to prepare the case. His professionalism and his experience are absolutely admiring. And YES! We won the case! The Judge gave reasons why we won and they were exactly what Anthony had advised us!! We felt much more confident after the fact since Anthony also informed us about our next step and what we can do to prevent our Tenant from filing an application against us in the future.
