Called Delta to snake a slow drain. Within 5 min they quoted $800, asked why it's so expensive and they lowered the price to $600? Not a good way to do business, I'll use a local plumber.

Had a clog on a main run T and my 25ft snake wasn’t long enough to reach. I called this company on a Saturday since Mr. Rooter couldn’t come until Sunday. The job was simple — it just needed to be snaked through the cleanout access, no toilet removal or anything complicated.

When the tech arrived, he immediately started trying to upsell me on a hydro jetting service for $2,200. I told him all I needed was a regular snaking, and he came back with a quote of $750 — for a very standard job.

I manage multiple properties and have paid less than that for actual after hour emergency. I paid their $140 show up service fee and called Roto-Rooter instead, who quoted me the price over the phone with no nonsense.

I’m writing this as a warning to others — be cautious. In my experience, these guys try to gouge you with unnecessary upsells and inflated prices.

To add the $750 was not guaranteed to clear the clog.

Just an update roto rooter came out in the Sunday charged me $415 taxes in

Update: I had your customer service reach out on the Monday following the call regarding the quote for the hydro jet. When I explained that the price was extravagant, they brushed me off without any genuine attempt to address my concern.

I’m not sure what there is to discuss — these are the prices your technicians are quoting and charging on behalf of your company. I think it’s only fair to let others know that your rates are significantly higher than your competitors.

My intention isn’t to cause issues, but simply to make sure other customers — especially those who may not be familiar with pricing or the nature of the work — aren’t taken advantage of.

After struggling with a leaky faucet for weeks, I finally decided to call Delta plumbers. These guys were fast and quick and didn’t charge me extra stuff. I didn’t need it very pleased with the quality of their work would highly recommend.
