DON'T GIVE THIS APT A REVIEW UNTIL YOU'VE LIVED HERE FOR 3 MONTHS.
Worst apartment to live in SLC and it's not that the Apartment it self isn't nice. It's the staff, Shay and Halle are very disrespectful and don't look out for the wellbeing of the residents. After interaction with Shay, I had to go the hospital. The interaction gave me multiple panic attacks that day and thats something that I never had before. I only had 2 weeks at the apt of peace. It makes me wonder if it's a racial thing because I walked into the office and Halle was disrespectfully talking to this older muslim lady. I broke my lease at the six month because mentally I could not live here anymore. do not give this place a review until you've lived there three months. Because what they do is soon as you move in. They email you to give them a review, which is not fair and accurate because they'll put on a nice face for the first two weeks and then start disrespecting you and treating you poorly.

Management was great the first few times of meeting but after today they truly are disgusting people. Not kind at all they judge off of first appearance and no help in any kind of emergency after my car got broken into told me to contact police for footage. They should be held liable the blonde lady that sits in the corner very rude very nasty attitude. Don't care to know their names. 100% wouldn’t recommend to anyone happy I moved out.

After nearly three years living at City Lofts, I'm disappointed that one of my final interactions with management ended this way.
While making my final rent payment, I specifically asked the receptionist how much it would cost to pay with a credit card. I was told she wasn't sure and would need to enter the information first. She processed the payment with our my consent on the fee. She handed me the receipt, and told me everything was good to go as if there was no fee.
Later, when reviewing my transactions, I discovered an additional $20 processing fee that was never disclosed to me before the charge was completed.
I returned to the office to discuss the issue with Haley. Her response was that the receptionist was new and "doesn't know what she's doing," and that there was nothing they could do about it. When I explained that the fee should have been disclosed beforehand and that I felt the situation was deceptive, I stated that I would be reporting the charge to my bank. Haley's response was simply, "If that's how you feel." Lmao like come one customer service.
Mistakes happen, especially with new employees. My issue isn't that a mistake was made—it's that there was no accountability, no attempt to resolve the situation, and no concern for the customer experience.
My advice to future residents is to carefully review all charges and document your interactions with management. Transparency and professionalism matter, especially when residents are moving out and trying to close out their accounts properly.

DO NOT RENT HERE!! Very poorly managed property. Extremely rude property manager, I believe her name is shaylene? After looking through the reviews it seems as though i am not the only one with an opinion about this lady. They legitimately prey on their tenants and guests visiting them. They do not provide ANY guest parking. They're not in on sundays to provide passes and really just do not care to help.
Also try your hardest not to talk to shay and ask questions, she will threaten to sick her lawyers on you.

Okay guys I have to say this you need to seriously improve the customer service; we tried to make an appointment with the person on facebook we were simply told that we could visit during business hours (from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.); however, upon our arrival, we discovered that they actually required an appointment for a tour. Since we hadn't scheduled one, the information and tour we received felt incredibly rushed—almost as if our time held no value. Furthermore, the demeanor and attitude of the staff members on-site seemed tense and argumentative (and not just toward us). It reached the point where—despite absolutely loving the venue itself—we did not feel welcome at all, and my husband ultimately decided to look for a place where we truly could feel welcome.
