Been going here for many years now. Recently quality of work has reduced significantly. I had an exquisite dress for my daughter altered. The main guy measured her pins and the end result was disappointing as the fit was still loose. $150 later!!!! Then I took a pair of pants for my wife to alter the length, easy job. Once home we realized it wasn't even done. Take it back next day and the little guy in there outright said we are cheating him and the work was done. He looked at the stitch and confirmed initially it was their work and in a minute changed his answer to "not our job". Bottom line I asked him to check cameras to confirm we weren't lying. That was a punch in the face. Next week the work was done, but they have lost a customer who was faithful for more than 12 years.

*** Original 2019 Review*** I meant to write this last year- they do a FANTASTIC job and the employees are always pleasant. Front-store parking can get tricky though as someone already mentioned. If there's no spots at the front there is parking to the side of the building (although I don't know if its okay to park there- I'd call ahead and check just to be sure).

Last year they hemmed over a dozen items for me ranging from my tops, pants and dresses to my husband’s favorite sweater. Price-wise I find them to be a tad pricey compared to others around... BUT... its fair for the quality of work they provide. Before finding Elite Tailors, I had been to a few other alteration places in RI where they charged less, and the quality reflected the price I paid.

I hope businesses get a chance to read these reviews because if they do: Thank you Elite Tailors & Cleaners! I will for sure be seeing you all the next time my clothes need alterations :-)

*2023 Update* I still go here for dress/skirt/anything alterations! Just last week, they altered a skirt for me and it fits great!

AMAZING!! I had brought in a bridesmaid dress, I needed it in 1 week from that day. I’ve called other places just to see if someone could squeeze me in and they all couldn’t except Elite tailors! I went in, tried on my dress, poor man had to measure the hem twice because I kept wanting my straps tightened. Professional service, my dress was done on time. I didn’t have time to try it on when I picked it up, but it was PERFECT when I wore it the next day! I thought the price was a little high, but I would pay extra for quick, clean, perfected and professional service! So to me, I didn’t care the price. They were life savors! Thank you my friends!
