I was inspired to become a nurse after watching the incredible care my grandfather received during his cancer treatment—especially from the nurses who made such a meaningful difference in his experience. That inspiration eventually led me to a career in emergency medicine and labor & delivery, and later, to becoming a nurse practitioner. I chose to become a nurse practitioner because I wanted to support patients not just during hospital stays, but throughout their lives. I love building long-term relationships and helping people take charge of their health. My approach to care is very much team-based. I believe my role is to provide clear, evidence-based information so my patients can make decisions that are right for them. I always walk into a visit asking, “How can we make a plan that works for you?”. Over time, I developed a strong interest in menopause and perimenopausal care. I saw how many women lacked access to up-to-date, personalized support during this important stage of life. That led me to earn my MSCP (Menopause Society Certified Practitioner) credential from The Menopause Society. I’m also especially passionate about mental health—including perinatal anxiety and depression—along with preventive care, contraception, and LGBTQ+ health.
