Our daughter and her friends had a fun and painless experience getting their ears pierced with the device option. Lainey and Jocelyn were wonderful. Highly recommend this shop.

Fantastic experience! The two experienced nurses pierced my 6 year olds ears at the same time so it was just one fast poke. Lollipops in the goody bag are a great touch.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, AND HUMILIATING EXPERIENCE. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

I am absolutely appalled by the way I was treated at this establishment. The level of unprofessionalism, hostility, and complete disregard for basic customer service was beyond unacceptable. I have rarely encountered such disrespectful behavior from people working in a customer-facing business.

My boyfriend had reserved and paid for a piercing appointment, but he accidentally selected a cherry design instead of the flower design I wanted. This was a simple, reasonable issue that could have been handled professionally. I clearly explained that I was more than willing to pay any additional amount required for the flower design.

The cherry jewelry was still in the store’s possession, had never been used, and had not even been handed over to us. Yet, instead of attempting to find a reasonable solution, an employee named Lanie repeatedly insisted that I had to purchase BOTH pieces, regardless of the circumstances.

Let me make this clear: I was not asking for anything for free. I was willing to pay the price difference or any additional reasonable charges. I simply wanted the jewelry I had originally intended to wear.

Rather than explaining their policy respectfully or offering assistance, the staff became increasingly rude, argumentative, and hostile.

I was then instructed to contact customer service, where I encountered yet another extremely rude and unhelpful representative. She told me to return to the store and call her again from there. I followed her instructions, but when I returned and attempted to make the call, Lanie once again began raising her voice and arguing with me, repeatedly insisting that I had no choice but to keep the cherry jewelry and purchase the flower separately.

The situation escalated unnecessarily, with multiple employees becoming involved and creating a public scene. I was humiliated in front of other customers over a simple request that I had approached politely and was fully prepared to pay for.

What disturbed me even more was the way I was spoken to and treated. I felt singled out, intimidated, and discriminated against. The hostility was so concerning that I felt compelled to record the interaction on video to document what was happening.

I cannot say strongly enough how degrading and upsetting this experience was.

We had already paid for the service. The original jewelry remained unused and in their possession. I was offering to pay more for a different design. Yet somehow, I was treated as though I had done something wrong simply by asking for a reasonable solution.

A business has every right to establish its policies. However, having a policy does not give employees the right to yell at customers, publicly humiliate them, or treat them with hostility and disrespect.

I am particularly concerned about the possibility of discriminatory treatment, and I intend to pursue this matter through a formal complaint. I have video documentation of the incident and will consider escalating it to the appropriate consumer protection and civil rights authorities.

To the management: You should be ashamed of how your employees handled this situation. Your staff’s behavior reflects extremely poorly on your business, and customers deserve far better than this.

To anyone considering visiting this establishment: PLEASE THINK TWICE. I would strongly discourage anyone from spending their hard-earned money at a business where a straightforward customer service issue can escalate into such an unnecessarily hostile and humiliating experience.

Absolutely unacceptable. Zero professionalism. Zero accountability. Zero respect for customers.

If I could give this establishment ZERO stars, I would.

Took my daughter to get her ears pierced. It was beyond fantastic. Nurse Jocelyn was excellent. Anothe lady who was there also absolutely amazing and the made the experience extra special. We got the pillow to help her sleep so it would not bug her while she slept. So glad that we did and got their spray to help the healing process. Its so easy and a spray so you dont have use q-tip or touch it when its a bit sore still. At the end she got a Bravery certificate, just hands down an very special and amazing experience. Way to go Rowan team!! Definitely will be back to get a change and pick new high quality hypoallergenic earrings.

My 5-year-old was excited and well-prepared for her ear piercing appointment. We specifically booked the needle piercing option because we understood it to be less traumatic and more comfortable than other methods. However, as soon as we arrived, we felt pressured to change our decision despite having researched and selected that option in advance.
We chose this business because we wanted our daughter's ears pierced correctly by qualified professionals, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet those expectations. The staff's attitude was disappointing, and the piercing outcome left us concerned about whether proper care and technique were prioritized.
After spending $120 and leaving with only one earring pierced, the experience felt like a significant waste of both time and money. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously and works to improve the experience for future customers, especially young children and their families.
