My Ride1Up Cafe Cruiser e-bike is my 3rd electric bike and definitely my favorite. I sold the other two, but kept the Ride1Up. The bike handles well and has a lot of pep. I enjoy having the throttle and the bike is fast and quick when needed. Size-wise it is easily adjustable with the threadless stem and a multitude of other ways to adjust this bike. I purchased the ST frame. It’s super cute.
The bike is stable and will hold a lot of cargo. I did not get the passenger set-up, as that time has passed, but I have collapsible baskets on the side that I load-up with beach gear, groceries, and/or errand-running tasks. The bike is strong and so stable, even when it’s all loaded up! It has replaced my car most of the time, weather permitting. I purchased an extra charger and battery as well. I am glad these are offered on the website too.
I took off a star because, at the top speeds, I am basically ghost pedaling, but most people I see don’t even pedal when traveling at higher speeds, so that may not even be noticeable to many.
The bike is awesome. I am sad that Ride1Up doesn’t carry the Cafe Cruiser anymore, but it looks like some of their other models have a similar frame, just different handlebars. Great bike and company.

We went for a test ride and came back dreaming about our next adventure! My wife and I loved the Ride1Up’s smooth power, comfortable ride, and fantastic build quality. It felt solid from the first pedal stroke—and definitely left us wanting more.
A pair of these would fit our retirement plans perfectly: fresh air, new places, and plenty of miles together. The hardest part might be deciding where to ride first!

Extremely disappointed with Ride1Up. My Portola arrived scratched with 5 miles on the ODO (sold as brand new), and support only offered a $50 credit for sending a used bike.
Within 3–4 months, the cheap aluminum kickstand snapped off at the mount. The pedal assist (PAS) kicks in with jerky, unpredictable power, and the headset/steering assembly arrived so defective that I had to physically replace internal components myself to eliminate play and severe clicking noises.
Horrible QC, sub-par components on heavy e-bikes, and poor resolution for damaged deliveries. Avoid.

We bought the Revv 1 drt and the Revv 1 fs almost a year ago and are still in love! First packaging and attention to detail in shipping was very impressive. Bikes arrived with no issues requiring minimal assembly that was well instructed in included manual. Both bikes have been put through rigorous riding on and off road. Customer service is excellent certainly compared with other companies. I called a few times for ordering accessories and always got a live and knowledgeable person who was able to assist without hassle. As for the bikes themselves, very well made, good looking, functional, and fun! Quality parts, customer service and assembly make these bikes about the best in class and a great value.

Not to pleased with this company at all.
You would think that an electric bike company that sells direct to the public would at a minimum take the bikes out of the boxes prior to shipping and make sure they are correct.
Not ride1up. I bought two Portolas from them and before I even got them out of the box they were scratched up. The other bike had a star nut that just spun in the steering tube.
Both bikes have derailleurs that are out of whack. One of them is on a bent piece and ride1up sends you a link to a YouTube video on how to bend it back. Which requires special tools. They have the bottom of the barrel derailleurs as well.
One derailleur won't go into the lowest gear, it slaps the tire as shown in the pictures.
There warranty process is a joke. There is basically no warranty on these things once you get into the fine print. Almost $2k spent for this trash.
I would think that if I was going to sell a product to the public I would make sure they're right before they go out the door.
