I finally made it here and I'm glad I came! I ordered the signature pork sandwich and the corn chips.
The sandwich I ordered medium spicy, but I think they chickened out on the spice level because it was not very spicy for me at all. But it was still tasty, with a lot of nice avocado mash, and the "crema" sauce which is garlicky and really good. The bread and the meat were both tender. I would have it again, but up the spice level.
The corn chips came with four sauces! I couldn't believe it. Avocado mash + pickled onions + green salsa + "crema." I guess some people mix them all together like a plate of nachos, but I tend to just dip into one or the other. It was very good. The corn chips were still hot from the deep fryer when I got them home. I'd eat this again.
They have picnic tables outside, and the server brought my take out order to me where I was sitting. Nice service.

The shells have changed. They are no longer in store flakey shells. Please bring the originals back, it’s what made the tacos the best in Ontario

The beef sandwich is genuinely tasty, tender and well-seasoned, and that’s the highlight. Unfortunately, the delicious fries are tiny and so short they’re almost impossible to eat without a fork. Eating in isn’t really set up for comfort: there are only six stools, no plate or box, just paper, and no cutlery provided, which makes the experience awkward rather than enjoyable. This is definitely better as takeout. I also left unsure what exactly I was tipping for, given the lack of service elements. Solid food, but the dine-in experience needs some thought.

Had the Classic Churrasco sandwich with chorizo and it was absolutely delicious! The flavours were spot on and really satisfying. Completo also has a really cute patio area, perfect for enjoying a meal outdoors in the warmer months. Great food, great vibe — I’ll definitely be back!

Completo is a banger. I think this place is a genuine 5/5 for their sandwich. The bread has a great chew, it didn't taste stale at all. Nice and saucy from the avocado and mayo(?). I chose steak as my protein and it was not chewy at all. Absolute banger.

Service was great, vibes were good. Inside was a bit hot, but I was standing outside and they brough me my sandwich. Feel a bit bad for the guys inside lol, but other than that note, I genuinely think this sandwich was perfect.

Fries were ok. Chips were good. The "mashed avocado" that came with everything seemed to be a store-bought avocado puree. The steak sandwich was pretty good, but you really have to love mayo.

The grilled cheeses were inexcusable though. Ordered three for the wife and two kids. The kids sandwiches were just hamburger buns with unseasoned white cheese inside and out. The hamburger bun didn't absorb any grease, so it was just dripping out of the wrapper. The adult sandwich was avocado puree, some red pepper, and they forgot the cheese on the inside. Yikes.

I like this Coady Ave. location because it's tucked away from busy Queen St. Seating is at picnic tables outside. Ordering is inside. This is my go to for? The Completo hot dog!!!! It's loaded with great stuff, and if I have one for lunch, I don't need a big dinner. Also love their loaded grilled cheese. Highly recommend!

If you have the choice, pick their Broadview location over this one unless you just want takeout. This is a little hole in the wall take-away spot. Not an actual restaurant, as we learned. I really thought it would be as amazing as their other location.

The food was just as good, although the menu is much smaller, but it loses a lot of points for ambience and seating. You don't really have a choice but to sit outside on their tiny little patio sets. There is technically minimal indoor seating but the music is so loud, and the cooking too, that I can't imagine it would be great if you're looking to eat and chat with a friend. Eating outside on the sidewalk in chilly fall weather really killed the vibe for us. So, just be aware you'll have to bundle up now. It's either wasps or cold.

They have almost no selection of drinks, and no hot drinks. Not awesome when you're eating outside and it's autumn...

The staff was super friendly and helpful however.

As a takeout spot? 4.5 stars. As a dine-in (outside), it's only 3 as it's just okay. Nothing bad, but also not great. Still delicious food.

Also, if you're a woman (or man) looking for a husband, hang out here for a while ;) In the whole time we sat here, it was ALL men coming in. Only one other woman with her boyfriend. Good luck, single ladies!

Lunch at the Completo yesterday was most disappointing! We ordered a loaded grilled cheese and a box with steak and fries (total cost $22.04).

The fries were either over cooked or stale from the night before and re-fried because they were so hard, we could not chew them! We told the waiter we could not eat them and he said we allowed the fries to get cold! We ordered the fries at 11.30am, was served at 11.45am and spoke to the waiter at 12.00 noon.

The grilled cheese was ok - more avocado than cheese, tasty pepper and tomatoes.

Outdoor tables are cute!

Tried the pork tacos, steak sandwich, and completo poutine. Tacos were absolutely amazing, best hard shell I've ever had. The sandwich and fries were decent but underwhelming compared to the tacos. Sandwich could have used more meat and less mayo (they say they load it up with mayo and they really do - I would ask for half the mayo next time as it gets a little too rich after a few bites). Poutine was good but but felt like it was missing something - maybe a sour cream to cut through the grease - would have also been better with a different meat, like the steak or pork if that's an option. Would definitely come back for the tacos!

Great place to stop off for some tasty Mexican food.
Nothing special from the outside and the seating area is quite 'rough and ready' but in a nice way.
Plenty of vegetarian stuff.
Massive portion of poutine.
friendly staff and a nice experience.

Today, I finally made it out to Completo. This is significant for me because I had been enjoying their incredible steak sandwiches since the first pop-up location opened up in Kensington Market, five years ago. I think I must have eaten there every week for that entire summer. It was my favourite sandwich in the entire city. I'd been aware of the Leslieville location for a few years, but rarely made it into that neighborhood. Until today. Luckily, the owner was in and even remembered me from the original pop-up! I was delighted to see their original steak sandwich was still on the menu, called the 'Churrassco (our classic)'. After five years, the sandwich hasn't changed one bit: it is still incredible. The steak, naturally raised, is cooked perfectly (read: not overdone) and covered in: diced tomatoes, avocado, mayo, hot sauce, and roasted red pepper sauce. This is no mere sandwich of griddled meat and toasted bread.. this is God, speaking to us in food.

Went to Completo with a friend of mine while visiting Toronto. I ordered the pork tacos and he had the beef tacos. We ended up trading one for one as well. Both were delicious! The meat was tender and flavourful, the toppings were fresh and the guac was unbelievably good. The restaurant is small and cash only, however they have a nice outdoor seating areas with about a half dozen tables. I highly recommend visiting and I will be back next time I am in town.

My wife and I went for lunch today and ordered sandwiches from the menu.

Regrettably, I remember the name of neither.

Hers was a Chorizo sausage with salsa, avocado, mayo, and she tells me it was delicious.

I ordered a grilled cheese with refried beans, salsa, avocado and aged cheddar, ON the sandwich.

My sandwich was amazing, and I was very skeptical at first. We (mainly, I) also had some Goat cheese fries that were impressive.

The prices were relatively fair, and the portions were respectable. We will absolutely go back, and you should too.
