We weren't sure when we walked in whether this was truly a date night place. The decor is minimalist. But Famille far exceeded our expectations. Caesar salad was tasty with croutons that looked homemade. The French onion soup was perfect, cheesy but not overly so and not too salty. We had the double cut pork chops and the seafood pesto pasta. Both were wonderful, and the chops were outstanding. Very tender with a tasty sauce. Our waiter Austin was delightful.

This is for the main dining area. The staff were great and top shelf. The menu on the other hand needs some love big time. The poke app needs to be cut in half size wise, remove the weird purple tuna and replace with normal red tuna and mixed with seaweed salad or something. I would rework the entire Poke dish. More tuna and less wantons. Pineapple isn't necessary but some wasabi or hot sauce and ginger would be sweet. The place has potential but I seriously would take another look at the menu. Great ordering options by name but the delivery might be off. The Tuna main dish was also a let down and nothing special. This place deserves to be full but If I was the owner I would hire someone to rework the menu big time. What a great location but for the cost I wont be exploring the menu any further based off this experience. No one wants to complain face to face to the staff and come off as rude but I thought this might generate some ideas for the owner and team.

We received a gift certificate to Famille, not knowing what to expect, we scouted the menu and made our reservation. Short story - a wonderful place for a night out. We sat by the wood burning fireplace for ambience, mellow and soft music was enjoyable but not loud to disturb conversation, the food was incredible and steaks cooked to perfection - medium rare was medium rare! Small, but well selected wine bottle list. The service was excellent, it was a quiet night, but our server gave us 5 star service throughout the night. Menu is ala carte, sides are all large and shareable, prices for the quality are lower than other higher end steakhouses in Bend and Redmond. Highly recommend this place for your next night out.

The food was very good. The flavors were wonderful! However, my risotto was not served hot (more like lukewarm), and my friend's steak salad was so drenched in dressing it made some of the lettuce soggy (there was a puddle of dressing at the bottom of the bowl). The service was very good. The atmosphere is simple and I think relatively elegant.

Whether you are doing a pub crawl, looking for amazing cocktails, or simply a place to sip on a drink before dinner, Familee is the place in try in Sisters. The bar has a 70’s disco feel and the cocktails are spectacular, and this comes from someone who has a son that is a mixologist. We enjoyed an hour or so in the bar before heading to the other side of the restaurant for one the best tasting ribeye’s we’ve ever experienced. The pepper sauce for the steak was great on all of our side dishes (potatoes and carrots). The staff was super friendly and even convinced us to staff for dessert where we enjoyed a specialty cocktail. A similar meal at an equivalent restaurant in Bend will cost you double. Do yourself a favor and plan your next date night at Familee. It is well worth it!!
