In fact when the appliance is properly operated there is no smoke what so ever exiting the chimney. As a result of the advanced technology wood stoves and fireplaces will NEVER be banned in residential homes in Kamloops or any surrounding community. New homes are allowed to install wood appliances but they have to be clean burning appliances that meet emissions standards just like cars are required to. Read more
